Description
Long ago, in an epic battle of might, King Phelios defeated the Vampire King Duzell. And as both lay dying, Duzell swore that his reincarnation would find King Phelios' reincarnation and exact his revenge. A hundred years later, the moment of reincarnation has arrived...the only problem is that Duzell has been reincarnated as a harmless house cat. And to add to his frustration, he can't find the reincarnation of King Phelios. Luckily, he has been adopted by Phelios' granddaughter, the teenage princess Ishtar, through whom Duzell may be able to track down who in the Phelios tribe is host...

I really liked the story, even though it got a bit draggy in some parts.

Everyone who is confused about who the reborn Phelios was: I'm quite sure it's one of her sons and what Duzzy felt at the beginning was Ishtar who will give birth to him.

I really liked the heroine in this series. She wasn't too obsessed with the guy she liked and she was really independent. I'm glad that the vampire theme didn't take over the series, but I have to say that some things just didn't match up. It may just be me, but the ages kept changing in the middle of the manga (and I know it's a really little thing, but that just bothered me a bit). Also, I think that the mangaka could have done a better job on expressing the love Duzzel and Darres had for Ishtar, or just the love relationships in general. I mean, it was obvious that Ishtar was in love with Darres, but Darres never says that he loves her too, but I guess you could tell in the end when they have twins... I am personally glad that Ishtar ended up with Darres because he has been taking care of her for his entire life, but I liked Duzzie as well. Overall, I liked the ending, especially with Ishtar giving birth to the twins Phelios and Duzzel, but was it really necessary for Yuujin to die?!?! Anyways, those are just some of my random thoughts on this series. I really liked and would recommend it.
Awww...I really loved this manga. Read the whole thing over two days - that's how good it was. Great art and storyline, well-developed characters, loads of plot twists...the works.
But other then the ending, this manga was really good. <3

But I thought the ending was sad, and a little annoying. I mean, I knew I was never going to be happy, because I was kind of rooting for both Duzell AND Darres to end up with Ishtar. But seriously! We never even found out for sure who Phelios' reincarnation was! If he was even reincarnated at all - before Ishtar gave birth to twins, anyway.
And I thought it was sad that Vord and Falen ended up together, instead of Falen and Illsaide, who seemed more...in love, I guess. And there was no conclusion to the hinted romance between Laphiji and Seiliez - were they in love, did they get together, did they break up...the mangaka could have done a lot more with them.
And I hated how they left loose ends hanging, like why Vord went all the way back home via his teleporting ring, just to get two more rings from his brothers. And what was that 'special thing' that only Seiliez could do? And what happened to the one traitor vampire who helped Duzell escape? Did she die? Run away? Is she a citizen of Razenia, or Pheliosta? I want to know! T-T
And BOTH Yuujin AND Duzell AND Sharlen died! One was bad enough, but ALL THREE of my favorite characters got killed off?! That's annoying!

This is one fun fantasy manga! A real funny princess with an attitude, a reincarnated vampire with revenge on his mind and a crazy royal family looking to either marry or kill the royal heroine (sometimes both!). Good art, like others have said, not the best but its consistent and absorbing. I enjoyed the storyline too, it was comic, with enough action and drama to pull it along nicely. All in all, a great manga - I'm surprised its not more popular.
It was a fun read i loved Du and i was really pulling for him. Not much i can add really others have said it the ending was a bit rushed. Lets see... um there was the young girl fall in love with the older man fairy tail um psycho vamp vs. fowl mouth girl and the part i love most poor put upon Duzell... Thou i thought it was funny him hitting on his mom in the end really cute.
finally i was able to complete this manga it was great i loved it will not has much i liked Hana Yori Dango but this oen was good thoguh i got board sometimes but the ending was a sad but still it turned out good anyway.

poor Duzell killed himself to save Ishtar, will though he gets reincarnated as Ishtars' son will she has twin and names them Phelios and Duzell
I always love the beginning of these stories the best; when its all fun and games and everyones ragging on each other. Then, usually about halfway through is when the drama picks up and the comedy backs off, but that was certainly NOT what happened here. The mangaka was somehow able to carry a decent plot line without sacrificing the laughs. Even when things got sticky and dramatic, I was still laughing my face off.
And the art wasn't too bad either.

I really liked it, it was a really good manga and I reccomend it to anyone. the end was no fun fun but honestly it probably wouldnt have worked for her to end up with the one I was rooting for. OH! and I dont like how so many guys kissed, just saying...
[spoiler]And I like the art. I like DUZELL. It would be nice if he ended up with the person he fell inlove with but nooo, that didn't happen. :[ sniff. I would be nice if there was more romance shown because i mean, i know there's romance but not enough. The story is pretty long but it's not bad.[/spoiler]
