Fun and cute, end felt rushed

Not too lewd, but fun and interesting plot idea. I wish the ending were less rushed and I wish the character development were stronger and made more sense, but overall I did enjoy it.

I agree with plotrobert's comment on this series. It is however pretty easy to read, and short can be done in about 2 hours or so.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Usually I don't care too much if there is smut in a series but, a year and a half together and she leaves and I feel like they did nothing aside from kiss and grope, it feels like it is missing that element to be complete

I feel like Marina's initial expectations are naive while the MC is very obstinate with his feelings... in a bad way.

There are a few timeskips that a randomly thrown in there but the progress is staggering that honestly timeskips were unneeded. I guess in a way that makes it slice of life but it comes off as bad planning and kinda shits on the strength and progress on the MCs' relationship with each other.

Overall the series has a nice plot but it wasn't planned/executed well.

Honda and nonblood Misaki, real sister introduced in last five chapters

Wasn't a bad read per say but it felt like there was a just a concept and an ending and there was an attempt to fill the plot with subpar comedy and drama.

Disjointed

Early on I held high promise for this manga, it's a pretty unique plot and it felt like things were going to start moving along nicely. The main problem is that after things get started things slow down to a crawl. Marina will just randomly decide to flip how she's treating Rinosuke at the drop of a hat without telling him a word and stuff like that. Besides that point Rinosuke is just annoyingly beta sometimes, I really wish he had some kinda character progression sooner. Things pick up a lot in the last 15 chapters or so but even then it's not exactly a crazy improvement.

I also found the whole Marina instance kinda weird to begin with, I mean she literally shows up on the day his dad dies and then just treats him like her husband. Then she gets shocked that he doesn't feel this way about the woman he just met. Marina just comes across as hopelessly naive at best and downright stupid at worst sometimes. I mean she literally worries in one chapter that she might be changing the past. After she went back in time to live with her husband's past self. Ya think, Marina? The story also doesn't tell us much about Marina ultimately besides "she has big tits" and "she wants to be a teacher" so it's hard to really connect with her

Do I recommend is story? Sure. The time travel (while not used to its full potential at all) leads to some nice story moments and the ending was satisfying. Just don't expect much more than a kinda shallow romantic comedy

Decent romance, good ecchi, but nothing remarkable.

8/10 ecchi, but 7/10 manga overall

Story started with good pacing, but the last few chapters were all rushed within a single volume. The mangaka did good with the amount she had to cover in the last arc, but some questions still are left unanswered.

That said, overall a decent experience, and tons of cute, adorable, and smoking ecchi.

Entertaining but not 'good'

I wouldn't call this a good story with good plot and character development, however it kept me entertained for 2 hours. The huge amount of focus on her boobs every time they introduced her at the start of many chapters was actually really annoying. There were some plot holes though like at the start the concept was 16yo MC is same person as 41yo MC, and then it goes to they are different, and then it's current and future FC is same person and therefore it doesn't matter which one he gets with... Either way it was good enough for shallow entertainment. On a side note I'd love to have a Marina XD

Time Travel and ecchi done right.

This is one of the few manga out there that takes a typical Ecchi scenario where a pretty girl suddenly appears in a guy's life, but then goes out of its way to actually flesh the scenario out and play it to its natural conclusion in a cohesive, logical way. Most manga in this genre introduce the girl with a random theme like, "Oh, I'm the daughter of the deceased demon lord, now I must live here." And then commences to rarely touch upon the circumstances that brought them together. RE:Marina consistently brings up the fact that Marina is from the future, and somewhen out there is a future Rinnosuke waiting for her.

The manga doesn't drag on like most silly ecchi romances do. Make no mistake, the bulk of the material is just pointless Ecchi romance, which I enjoy, but throughout the story the main character never ceases to stop thinking about the circumstances that are causing his situation with Marina to come about. And naturally, those circumstances do all play great significance in how the manga concludes. What I'm trying to say is that this manga has AN ACTUAL DECENT STORY THAT ULTIMATE CONCLUDES IN A LOGICAL FASHION DICTATED BY THE CIRCUMSTANCES THAT CAUSED THEM TO COME ABOUT.

tldr; its good.

Also, my personal theory for why Marina remembers Rinnosuke in the ending:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
To understand how the timeline overlaps, you have to remember some key events.
In the final chapter, Rinnosuke doesn't introduce himself to Marina until she's 23 years old. This is an important detail. In the first chapter, Marina tells use they met and started dating when she was only 20, and he falls ill three years later. So this is when Marina goes back in time, AT THE AGE OF 23.

So if the year she turned 23 is when Marina leaves the timeline, because timetravel is theoretically stagnant, then the year she turned 23 is also when she re-enters the timeline when Rinnosuke comes back to get her. So what you have to understand is that the Marina we are seeing at the end there isn't a new Marina with the old Marina's memories. She is actually the old Marina continuing where she left off when she initiated the time travel.

Very mixed feelings

At first I really enjoyed it, especially the sweet story and art style. But over time I became frustrated with the childish MC. Development is very slow, both his and the relationship between the two. I felt like was being dragged along while always waiting for proper communication. By the time the MC began growing into something less frustrating, it ended. I don't know if it was axed or not, but the ending felt very rushed. The first handful of chapters before the drama and end were great though.

I am a big fan of comedy romance and did a search and the cute cover got my attention. Without reading the synopsis I dug right in.. and just wow just wow. I haven't gotten far, just a few chapters in and I can see why the teen is hesitant I would be damn frightened. She is scary.

Those who throw insult at him have issues. No one in their right mind will accept anyone who claims to be their spouse from the future, especially after your fathers wake. The whole relationship is ridiculous. One is just discovering themselves and the other needs to get milked.

The basic premise of the story is nothing new (beautiful woman from the future comes and dotes on a, at best, tepid male protagonist). Art is typical of its genre, but is still aesthetically pleasing.

The more realistic concerns regarding this novel is the seemingly lack of any serious consideration behind anything other than the ludicrous relationship between the female and male protagonists. There is no real character development other than a few moments of the MC's desires to overcome the shadow cast by his future self (which the manga doesn't flesh out as a real emotion with any substance). Also, the manga completely fails to consider the implications of the premise (e.g. no mention of female protagonist's former life other than she was a female university student).

Overall it's an alright short gig if you're interested in mindlessly absorbing basic content.
