It's so sweet...omg diabetes. I still liked it though. It's highly unrealistic and every girl's fantasy that the popular 10/10 notices her and falls in love. The heroine is so shy though...it kind of got on my nerves. I know she's working on it, but her level is like way below social standards. I like heroines who are at least able to hold a conversation with other people ya know? Still cute and super vanilla.

I'm starting to smile at the inherent sweetness of the plot, pacing and characters, both primary and secondary despite the obvious mousiness of the heroine (which is a major turnoff initially, like get a move on already you mushroom!). Initially too much happens too soon and you worry that it's a shabbily executed one shot, but *matte* stick with it for two/three chapters, you'll start to smile at the similarities to kimi ni todoke pretty soon. That life just happens to work out so conveniently for these shoujo ingénues is... frustrating for more adult readers to stomach, but I suppose school life does work miracles for all of us
