Description

Zerodaimu Kyupura Pa Azalraku Vairu Rua Darogu (a.k.a. Zero) once stopped the evil demon lord with his incredible psychic ability, and in the process saved the world from destruction and earned the honorable and highly imaginative title 'The Man Who Stopped the Evil Lord.'
Now, he has accepted a position as a teacher at Psychic Academy, a school for gifted psychokinetic youngsters who have demonstrated incredible raw powers and want to learn how to hone their abilities. Among the student body is young Ai Shiomi, Zero's little brother, a somewhat meek boy who, despite parental prodding and his fraternal reputation, feels that his limited skills hardly justify his presence at the prestigious academy.
However, everyone else is convinced that he, like his celebrated brother, is destined for greatness. A lot of pressure for a boy just entering adolescence!

Great manga. The art isn't amazing but it isn't horrible and the storyline was pretty good. It's just one of those mangas where the protagonist has some secret strong power and discovers it later on. A good read if you like action and romance.
The plot itself wasn't too bad. I actually enjoyed it. There were a few minor inconsistencies that aren't explained; random details entered without any real reason as to how or why. I liked the story itself. It kept me curious as to what would happen while I read the entire thing though. It was quite creative. I found the ending to be really depressing and confusing though. It wasn't too conclusive, and there was one thing that Shiomi said that... Well... Not sure how to put it... <_< Anyways... The artwork isn't top notch, per se. There's a few weird proportions now and then. I just didn't like how much Katsu emphasized the women's figures. Their poses were too unreal, as was the tightness of their clothes.
In response to one of the comments made earlier, SnoopyCool (ie, my group) translated this in its entirety about... 5 or 6 years ago. Long before this site kept track of releases. They didn't bother to add it as one of our projects for whatever reason, but if you look for it, I'm sure you'll find it. Not to mention the fact that it was licensed in English shortly after we finished it, so many people may have read it that way as well.
Personally, I think this is a slightly interesting premise with some pretty bad artwork, and an all-in-all dreadfully mediocre manga. Good enough to earn regular serialization, but not a classic by any means.
I really enjoyed this manga. Characters were well developed and it had a bit of everything. The drawing style is a bit dated but I didn't mind it as much.
However.. if I had to judge the last volume alone, I'd give it a 4...Things were rushed, characters died out of nowhere. Important people dissappear without explanation. There appears to be a time-lapse but nothing is shown about what happenned during that time. Main character's powers and personality drastically change.. I could go on and on about the many things rushed or unexplained but I'll just leave it at "it sucked".

I completely agree with his comment too: it's serialized for good reason, but it'll never make it as a classic. This series has me remember it after all these years. The concept of the protagonist's psychic ability (to see auras by peeking through the hole of his hand) is signature to me. I remembered how excited I was reading near the end, how powerful and dramatic the final boss scene was.
All in all, from a person who has read it many years ago, I look back and say, "This manga is actually pretty good. Try it out."
Quite good in the beginning............but lost all great aspects as it went...........all the char and plot dev went down the roof near the end........I was quite disappointed since this mangaka had really impressed me in the past with his escaflowne series"all of them"
I enjoyed most of the story: it moved slowly but steadily, built up the characters and gradually filled in the background of what was going on.
But (to me) the ending seemed extremely rushed: it felt like the mangaka ran out of ideas or just got tired of writing the series, and threw something together in a hurry just to get it over with.
Wish some of the pointless filler material had been left out of the story and the space used to support a more complete ending.
Nice manga, even if the plot was a bit typical. Anyways, there are some original ideas and i like the story. The art is okay. The main character is not really interesting... I prefer Myuu... A good manga I think.
I only feel regret with that ending it the worst. Don't kill people for no reason you know what i watched the anime the ending is no good but the manga ending is the worst possible outcome i hate that. right now i feel like crap. Any other ending would make this manga a master piece. But this ending make it a sad manga.
it was one of the 1st mangas that i have ever read in my life, withing my 1st 50 probly, it was really wonderful and charming. i love Mew, loved her so much. she reminds me of Suzuka from the manga Suzuka.
