Worth the read
Rating: 9.0 / 10.0

I'll admit the first arc was tiring to read because of everyone doubting each other, due to Sae's neverending schemes. But the second arc blew my mind. It was drama from start to finish, and I mean major emotional DRAMA, so you better be prepared to have your brain rocked back and forth.

A lot of people are saying that it's cliche, irritating, even labeling Momo as a slut. I rated this a 5 when I first started reading this, but now I give it a 9. Why? It's a good story, it's realistic in its way. Relationships are complicated, life is complicated, and sometimes you can't see through yourself no matter how hard to you try. But you learn from your mistakes and only become stronger than you were before. A lot of the execution was flawed and had me smh too many times to count, but I think it came together well in the end. The characters are amazing, they really are. Everyone is solid, and I genuinely cared for the main leads. Momo is one of my favorite Shojo heroines to date, and although she has trouble making up her mind, she's strong. She's not perfect, but she's as gutsy as Makino from Hana Yori Dango. Momo had good reason for her doubts because both guys in her life are great. Because of all the previous drama it was even difficult for me to choose which guy I liked more. Toji or Kiley? Kiley or Toji? The ending caught me off guard because it wasn't what I predicted, but it left me satisfied.
My only peeve about this is that Momo seemed unrealistically lucky, always having one guy or the other by her side right when things go bad for her or when she'd had a riff with either one of the dudes. If only real life were like this for us girls... but then again, it's a manga!

PS: They seriously need to get cell phones that WORK. I can't imagine the number of times everything could have gone well if only their damn cells weren't constantly out of battery or service. -_-; seemed like lazy writing sometimes.

Poor characterization

Someone mentioned that this manga and Parfait Tic were kind of the same. I think the characterization here is worse though, especially Ichi vs Toji comparison. Even though Ichi was wishy washy with his ex, it was still understandable. The guy Toji in here though could not even talk to his own girlfriend face to face as a man but talked through her friend instead. He should be out of the picture before the love triangle even starts.

I love it! There's a lot of drama and conffsion(usually caused by sae), but you get to understand each and ever character as they grow. And i know some people complain saying Momo is just some girl who can't live without a boyfriend, but you have to understand it from her point of you as well, it wasn't like everything was simple. The really reason i don't give this manga a perfect 10 is because the misunderstandings do get on my nerves a little, but other than that i love it! Kiley crying for Momo was one of saddest things I've ever seen! ><

I watched the anime first and now I just finished the manga, it´s a great feeling finishing the whole series.

I totally loved the anime, and the manga was so nostalgic. Getting to know the whole story was amazing.

PS: I may have to agree with some other comments, between the anime and the manga, in this case, I would prefer the anime, but I´m not saying the manga is boring, terrible or something like that, because the manga is just as amazing as the anime.

There are some cases as Sugar Sugar Rune where the manga is absolutely better than the anime. And there are some cases where the anime and the manga are equally an excellent job like Marmalade Boy.

I really love the Peach Girl Code:
"Always love and accept yourself for who you are"

The art was amazing, the clothes, the places, everything was so well done.

Heartbreak drama

I thought it was your typical shoujo. Bitchy bff and love triangles..but then it shows us how love doesnt have to have sex, how not saying anything for the best hurts others more and how a few minutes late can change everything. Sad...really sad.. The main girl is awesome, not weak. It's kind of less irritating/annoying when she switches from guy to guy than when most heroines do. I mean that's just the way it is. When you don`t tell girls what's really happening, in dire situations she needs someone else. Not yet finished with the series. The first arc was ok and the second was amazing so far.

urrgh -.-.... I just finished reading this manga and all in all I can't say that it was bad because it had me pretty hooked and I finished reading this story in 2 days...but there are just some points that I just don't like...

- the first half of the story is pretty much always the same
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Momo likes something/someone >>> Sae steals it >>> momo tries to get it back >>> Sae pulls her next evil trick

after the third repetition of this I couldn't take it anymore but I kept reading
well after some events the "evil" person changed to someone else and the same drama again...

the art is not bad and some of the characters are likable...
my conclusion is that this is a typical shoujo manga with a 100% shoujo heroine and a 100% predictable ending...and for the next few weeks I'm cured from this genre XD

Characters are AMAZING. Drawn beautifully.
Story is wonderful! Yes is does have a lot of drama. Well. What can you say? Most Award Winning Work out there have lots of DRAMA in them. smile
The story isn't complicated as much as some people say it was. I actually understand it perfectly from beginning to end. It does have a twisted story but it's not that much confusing that you won't understand it. Actually, it is also one of the reason why am I so hooked to this manga. It just make so curious to what will happen next :>

Overall. It really is AMAZING :> One of the best I've read lately. I only gave a 9 because it failed to move me to tears on drama scenes. biggrin

It is a ton of drama. I want to strangle all but two of the major characters, especially the fetus. That thing can only be The Antichrist. Everyone seemed to come out better except for the blonde haired fellow, who will go off the be a rapist.

So, when I began this manga and the main character was with the main guy and everything, I was like "How sweet~"
But then there came Sae and thus she began to create mischief for the protagnists and I was at the edge of my chair, waiting for the mains to learn the truth. It continued liked this and by the next trap/misunderstanding Sae made, I was pretty much annoyed and I began to wonder, are her plans actually genius? My conclusion was no, and I decided the main characters were pretty darn stupid for:
1.Giving Sae chances despite knowing her evil-ness
2.Falling for those frikin tricks over and over.

And I have to say, I really like Momo if not for her naivety. I mean, seriously.
As for the main guy, he's REALLY naive or even just stupid.

So for me, these series were pretty...annoying.

This is one of the few mangas that I prefer the anime to the manga. I'm sorry, but it's true! The way Kairi's seiyuu says "Momo-chan!" just made me adore it - doesn't help that I watched it first, but then again, maybe I wouldn't have found the will to read it through if I hadn't. But yeah, it's the anime that earns it the 10/10 for me. (The manga is probably more of an 8 or so, but I haven't finished it just yet...)
