To be honest, at first I was terrified by this manga. I NEVER touch any manga with BDSM tag EXCEPT this manga.
I thought I would end up hate this manga since the first chapter, the first sex scene did scare me at first.
That was years ago. This year I chose to go back to reread this manga. It surprise me that their BDSM/Bondage scene actually pretty light compared to few manga or fic I accidentally read that has BDSM scene that was terrifying and too nasty for me.
The two main characters' personality is lovely. The arts is PERFECT!
The characters growth and the development of their relationship was going pretty nicely so far.

Ignore what people say who said that there's no Love between the characters. Because when you read till the latest chapters and the extras, you could tell their relationship growing healthy (as healthy as someone who have not clearly put the world 'dating/married/lover' yet), no force in sex since both characters know what they want or what others want. The way they act and feel toward each other showing clearly that their relationship is not just based on sex and living together.

The way they ready to protect each others showing their feelings toward each other is not just simple 'care'.
They don't say the world 'love' yet, but they do starting to learn more, especially from Akihito's POV.

It's just... not my cup of tea(??). I mean, I'm totally in it for the romance and all but I just can't handle violent Yaoi. This one is a prime example of that. The first time they did the deed, he shoved a damn film up the poor guy's butt and I just had to put all stops on my read.
Anyway, I have a buddy (fujoshi) who loved this series to bits and thinks the world of it. Maybe if you're the sort who could handle loveless, blunt romance with tons of violence, give it a try. The art's good so why not, right?

Honestly I picked this up because it's one of the most widely read ones so I figured out that I'd check it out and see what I've missed. I descended into rape hell as is general yaoi trope, but then somewhere along the lines it became consensual between Asami and Takaba (what does this say about me, who never remembers MC names, who remembers these ones) when reciprocal interest is shown (it takes like a few arcs honestly) and less getting raped against Takaba's will (less often, at least).

It is ridiculous. Everyone wants Takaba's ass. Takaba is the poster child for having the most sex done to him that I have yet to see (but then again I haven't read Okane ga Nai and I don't want to because that would probably actually make me cry). One thing for props here: at least Takaba's no girl visually. Other than that...why am I reading this. At the same time, some inglorious strand of plot seeks to enlighten me and keep me reading, some weird ploy of reminding us that Takaba would choose his photography over Asami that is where he is, that is who he is. More convoluted telling us about Asami being Dangerous--though the later chapters are a bit better and more inclusive of plot and development (I guess?) between Asami and Takaba that I really want to see how it gets going.

Ironic, honestly. Manga starts solely about rape, and then about 50+ chapters later, all I want is to read more domestic Takaba and Asami.

In all honesty after a while I started reading for more Asami and crying the piss out hysterically because for some reason I have grown to notice that this artist draws REALLY GOOD HANDS.

The art incredibly good. Like, ridiculously so. The artist is incredible with hands, with torsos, with creative positions of sex, but honestly the plot.

I'm trapped let me out but keep me updated.

The story is quite confusing for me. The main characters don't seem in love(?), and there seem to be a LOT of people who like Asami in the manga... Putting the sex scenes aside, the plot is just confused. I can't comprehend my puny mind around it. The art is nice though but the plot is (I don't get it). Give it a try, it may be your type of story.

This manga is really good. It's got a few yaoi clichés. But over all, the manga's very interesting and the plot (even when it feels random) works. If you do not like yaoi where the mafia and rape is involved, don't read this manga! You have been warned!

I like Asami (the seme), he is a mafia boss and you feel it every time he's on screen (very well written character). I'm not a fan of Akihito (the uke), I sort of want him to behave more (outside of the bedroom). And for the love of god, Akihito, stop getting involved (and kidnapped)!

The plot obviously has holes (as do most yaoi that involve/start with rape). Here's a summery of the first 5 encounter between Asami and Akihito:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
First encounter: Asami falls in "love"/is amused by Akihito Second encounter: Akihito is kidnapped and raped by Asami (said rape involves:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Not in order: hand-job, bondage, urethral penetration, dildo, aphrodisiac, bite gag, orgasm control (via string/rope), punishment, wrist and ankle restraints, dominance, anal item (film roll) insertion, and anal intercourse
... basically a sh*tload of bdsm fetishes in one scene. Third and forth encounter: no real interaction. Fifth encounter: Asami saves Akihito (from his kidnappers) - oh and Akihito "loves" Asami (my guess is the sex was just that hot). Love is not really what you have here, but it's close to what they have with each other.

Don't let encounter nr. 2 scare you away, it's the most hardcore (and random use of fetishes) sex scene you'll find in the whole manga. And (according to me) not the hottest scene in here wink

The art is wonderful. The sex is hot. It's plot faults are forgivable. The main characters are interesting, as are the side characters (Feilong <3 ). But again, if the mafia (and rape) aren't your cup of tea, you're not going to like this manga.

IN MY OPINION, this manga is really overrated. It's got alot of rape and stuff like that in it, which is not my thing. If you are into that, then you will probably love this manga but for me it was a bit too much. The art is nice, I guess, but I didn't really find the characters all that interesting or relatable. The plot isn't really anything special and gets kinda repetitive. Probably good if you aren't looking for anything heavy and just want a light read, though I guess not because of the rape and stuff. I guess it's understandable because of the smut tag so, again, if you like that kind of stuff then go for it I guess, you will probably love it. If you however, like me, don't like that stuff, then stay away because this manga has a lot of it. This is all just my opinion though smile.

Incredibly BAD

I will not even go into the rape, I know that yaoi is a harmless fantasy space. However, it's so cliched -- Takaba's objection to his rape is almost obligatory, the police detective's betrayal is even more so, and actually extraneous, and Takaba's minor aid to Asami ending with him being rescued is so predictable. It's so gratuitous, it's like the mangaka doesn't even try.

Not even good enough to be a guilty pleasure yaoi (of which I have many).

This manga is so hot I don't even know how to handle it. The more Asami subdues Akihito, the more he violates him, the more sex they carry out it gets better. I like how mysterious Asami is, until today at volume 7 we still do not know what business he does, and he still is somewhat the sexy mysterious guy from volume one. Akihito is not bad either and I like how he's falling deeper and deeper for Asami, how the bad guys have this dirty fantasy of raping him, it somehow increases his worth showing that he's just not some random street guy. He's hot and Asami as well. Just hope that the manga progresses to show how Asami actually likes Akihito and not just treating him like a toy, let's have them fall passionately in love and let's have Asami get more possessive. It's awesome.
And the art, phew, beautifully drawn. It has improved since volume one, Asami looks even better. I like the side stories too, the author giving us this fabulous fan service.
Read it if you like things like mafia, possessive lover, rape, lots of sex, falling for the hot mysterious stranger, and um yeah more rape. Seriously, Akihito even does blowjob for his job as a journalist. Wonder what happens next when Asami finds out tho...

I really do love Finder! It's such a good & nice manga. The Artwork is amazing & the story is just fcking awesome! I reread it all the time, because I can't get enough from this. I don't think I can live without this awesomeness.

I like the sex, i mean.. Look at it!!! It's not just cute, it's smexy, it's hardcore & asdsfhsa.

The age gap makes it a bit more "better", I don't know why, but I love how Asami treats his little Kitty & everything.

And goddammit, Asami is hot like hell. On the one side he's a bad boy, ganster, business man etc. BUT on the other side he's like the cutest fck ever! If you look at him closely, you can see how much he loves Takaba & how much he's worrying about him & like i said before, I like the way he treats Takaba. What I really adore is how manly Takaba is (but he's a little bit bitchy too)..

So what can I say? Just read it ok? READ IT!! it's so great and whatever, just read it. THANKS
