Why?

Three words: Salt and burn.
Seriously, what does the author thinks of her readers? It's kind of offensive.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
To make short story longer, the poor characterless boy got kidnapped and raped, his father watched a rape video of him, which somehow made him feel like screwing the violator, who - in fact - did all of it just to gain father's love. Then some other disturbing sex scenes and finally, to top it all, the spineless boy feels scorching passionate love for his rapist. Voilá!

The reason, why it even has 35 pages (first chapter), it's not because it would try to explain any of the nonsensical behavior or inexplicable reasoning, but because it shows who put what where and when in detail.. Frankly, this is mere porn. Not even good. That's enough for me.

I love this author. I love the reversal aspect of this yaoi. The story line is easy to follow. It is full of yaoi tropes but I thought it was an adorable read nonetheless. Would recommend reading it.

the worst by sadahiro mika

this was the first manga i read by her...and as others have said, it is plotless. i read this about a year ago and i didn't touch any of her other works because of it.

however!!! i'm writing this review because i decided to pick up her OTHER works...which are SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS ONE. Neji no Kaiten was the absolute worst yaoi manga written by her in my opinion.

if you want a good plot and characters with dimension, please check out Surf Junkie as well as Venus ni Seppun.

Well, plot-wise this sucks so badly, it's amazing.

A love triangle with a boy, his father and the father's college student, where they all fuck each other?

The smex, on the other hand, is so thorough that even the most hardcore yaoi fans should be somewhat satisfied. If you want plot, I beg you, read something else. If you want yaoi smex, this. is. it. But you have to overlook the whole plot, seriously, because the characters are pretty much disgusting.

One of Sadahiro Mikas strongest flawes is that she has Sex- without- a plot- in basically all of her Manga. I don´t know if she´s got the impression of yaoi-readers being stupid and easily pleased with all sorts of sexual bullshit, but what I know though is that she should, for her own good, reconsider making yaoi manga just based on sex. The readers get tired, I get tired, and the rest of the world get tired of guys that just-hump-eachother-for-No-reason.

One good Manga she´s made though is Undergrand Hotel. Her one and probably only masterpiece.

Oh and I will not comment on the actual story of this Manga, because there wasn´t any. Just one sexscene after another.

First of all i gotta say that there isn't a real stroy, the whole manga is based on sex. So for those who love Lovey-Dovey Couples being romantic and going on dates and stuff, this really isn't the thing to read .___.
The only reason i checked this out was because of the reversible couple, and i wasn't disappointed
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
It's like you're jumping in everytime they have sex, with 5 pages inbetween for recovering, and every chapter they switch at least two times

Well, for me that isn't a bad thing, but as i said, not really for romantics.__.
So for me, it's -1.5 points because the story is crap and -1.5 points because i don't really like the artwork ... bigrazz

I love this author. She write and draw the best mangas. It's so hot, I love reversible couples. There's a lot of smut yet it have a very good and meaningful story. There is something in those sex scenes and the talk between/during. The thing about being as one, connected and pure love. I'm not quite sure, it just feeling different from a lot of other sex scenes in yaoi.

But to be honest, sometimes I feel it's a bit too much sex and lovely-dovely. But that's okay, everything doesn't have to be all deep and serious. Truly a good read.

In running for most distasteful

I read yaoi for relationships between beautiful men. This one had neither. The art felt dated, the guys were unlovely, and the relationship based only on sex. The only reason to read this is if you're really into reversible couples (which this was aggressively so), otherwise, there's tons of less disgusting stuff out there.

Haven't seen many reversi's so when I find one I normally love it. I liked this one better than some of the others I've read because of the rape to love angle... twisted my perversion maybe, but it's not only mine. I will probably seek this one out again... even though it didn't hold as much angst as I like.
