Description
Katsuragi Keima is known on the net as the god of getting the girls while in real life he’s known as otamegane and he hates all real girls. However he is approached by Elsie, a devil from hell, to help her in catching runaway spirits that hide in people. Apparently the spirits only hide in the hearts of girls and the only way to get the souls out is by making the girl fall in love so the spirit gets forced out. And he’s not allowed to fail or he will lose his head.

without any emotional attachment, Keima just go for it and very successful with it. witness the mastery of enamoring any females from the guy who don't even care.

but to witness such pure mastery, you must be patient until few arcs have ended. but don't worry, the excitement will continuously escalates. without fail.

Please do not read the premise of this series and get put off immediately. It is far better than it originally looks.

I love this series. It is one of the few that actually makes me laugh. Sure, it starts out a bit repetitive, with the new girl, charm, capture, repeat cycle but later it starts to develop into a more "proper" plot. You'll be surprised how much the older parts come into play.

I will however say this appears to be one that is best read weekly. Reading it in large blocks (which I had to do for the first few captures until I caught up) kinda drains the humour a little bit. However it is still great to read, and the later chapters ( starting around 54, when tenri comes in) leave you begging for more every week..

I just love this series, it's a lovely laugh every week. It's the only one I really miss when the magazines go on a break.

I was originally a fan of the series, but in the end it has been continued past where it should have and it now has become pretty terrible.

I'm also disappointed that the main character never really evolved in the end. He seeks a boring life (solo fantasy video games), which he prefers over real life, no matter how thrilling his life actually is.

this series have very high comedic value and moe characters. it is a refreshing take on the harem genre where the main character actually try to capture the girls' heart, not just sitting there and somehow girls fall into his lap. the character design is very cute especially when keima is in his 'god' mode. there is no gratuitous ecchi scene that will reduce the story's value (though i love ecchi). it is light hearted and will put a smile on your face, even with the 'heavier' arc. highly recommended. i think girls will love this simply because keima's conquering technique is just too amusing

the only reason i dont give it a ten is because it's my principle to never give anything full mark.

(like Keima turns into a cockroach, and leaves out of the class, when the girls shouts at him and says he is a cockroach)

7> Excellent ideas and intelligent main character make this even more fun and gripping.
8> Ah! I wanna say more.... but got some games to play bigrazz

I've recommended this to everyone I know on this planet...

It is pretty tough to make a uniquely dysfunctional character nowadays, especially in manga where every other character is a freak but somehow Keima stands out as one in a class of its own. This series pretty much rides on his messed up way of life and how he refuses to deviate or apologize for it.

The stories have been carried solidly by him for well over a hundred chapters now and they are still going on strong. The story arcs have become longer and longer and with that comes more and more cliffhangers driving more than a few readers into rages and face palm moments. This has not stagnated the story though as a lot of plot development has been built at a steady pace as a result.

This phrase resumes the main character's philosophy. he is extremely smart, BUT could be clinically depressed xD
His ideal word, and ideal girls, exists only in gaming, probably by his own glorified notion of what it should be.
this is indeed a shitty world, most of us who can join this site on our idle time are lucky enough to NOT worry about what are we going to eat tomorrow, or with how many people i got to suck his thing to get the food. So we can tend to forget how hard things are for a LOT of people in this wide world.
He decided not to care about this shitty world and shut himself on gaming, but he was forced back to reality by a life or dead deal xD.
The plot has become thicker than I would have ever guessed at the beginning, and I have to tell you that I’m waiting eagerly for a new dose of his world every week.

This is godlike!!! i cant believe i forgot to make a comment for this. . TWGOK i cant even begin to describe how good it is. . the mangaka is so good at making cliffhangers that makes you want to read more and beg for more. . seriously i recommend this to everyone! read it and be amazed! it will always put a smile on your face. . =)

This manga is brilliant and entertaining right from the very start. Wakaki Tamiki really does tread new ground in the harem genre - this is not your average harem manga, nor your average romance manga for that matter. Even though the author uses a lot of the genre's tropes; at the same time (through the use of the charismatic, genre-savvy main character), he subverts and deconstructs those same tropes, and it's damn refreshing. It's not just a gimmick, though. The storytelling is sweet, clever and amusing. The cliffhangers, of which there are many, are nevertheless tasteful - they don't feel like the author's just cut the chapter short. And the latest developments are exciting to say the least. Whether you're a jaded reader of romance manga, or an earnest fan, give this manga a try, you won't regret it.

Like everybody else, I had a bit of skepticism when looking at the title and reading the tiny description about the series. After reading the first chapter however, I have to say that this manga has a very solid plot and it seems to be well put together. The main character(s) seem to be a bit of an intriguing combination (it gives off a manzai team combination somehow) and the main idea seems to just revolve around them.

Like I said though, this series has a lot of potential. It's taking the 'romance' genre in another direction, but unlike most other starts, it's giving a flair that makes me want to come back for more.
