Couldn't really feel any chemistry between the characters, not sure how Ryousuke fell in love with Akio as well. But story and characters themselves were alright I guess. Overall a light read to pass time I guess.

If only there's a chapter about how the seme comes to love the uke... Because I just can't accept a straight seme do a 180 just because the uke is "cute". But overall, it's an okay read, though like someone said in the comments, it's not exactly memorable.

It's a little bit bland, but that's one of its main points (considering that this is a SOL manga) And it's great that the seme acts like the uke (instead of being aggressive and so it's reallyyy cute) and I looooove how a love triangle doesn't exist~~~
Ok the seme did act a little bit aggressive when AND THE OUTCOME WAS HONESTLY CUTE!!!! INSTEAD OF FORCING THE UKE TO AND THAT'S REALLLYYYYY SWEEEET I LOVE IT EUGHH

This is quite good and easy going story. I have nothing really to complain about.
Just... when I ended this manga I realized it somehow didn't leave any strong impression behind. Such a pity.
But still... it was good thing to read

...you have the same fetishes and likes as me: caring (but still willful) seme, cute but poker-faced uke who is also selfless, glasses, suit and tie, and a story about unrequited love and childhood friends.

There were no twists and surprises, but all the characters reacted in the way that I wanted and liked. The art and mood of the manga really made this a slice-of-life story, which just means that there was a little less sappy idealism than yaois usually have (probably because of the unrequited love angst), which is also a big plus for me.

Normally, I really hate it when one lover thinks something like, "Oh, it's for his own good" and does something that makes both partners unhappy. This case, however, is an exception. Akio is really frickin' sweet and brave and relatable, and Ryousuke's a good guy, too. They're really well-matched. I've reread this a couple times, and the part always gets to me. It's pretty short, but it's sweet and well-executed. Recommended!

It's a great story.
I really liked the way it builds up slowly and has some dramatic moments as well as sweet ones that make you smile. It's refreshing that most of the usual yaoi cliches that you would expect to show up actually don't!
It's just a simple story of two childhood friends, their feelings, their worries.

I'd recommend this to pretty much anyone because you really can't go wrong.

Well I suppose I would have liked the story if it wasn't for the feeling, that everytime a new chapter started I'd missed something. I was constantly like "huh?" for the first few pages of each chapter and that annoyed me. Henceforth I couldn't enjoy it very much.

I rarely give a manga a 10 nevermind a Yaoi but this manga was so tender and beautiful that i absolutely loved it. It wasn't rushed and took its own pace so that it allowed you to immerse yourself in the manga <3 Absolute love

i am a total sucker for the "childhood friends fall in love" trope; i never get tired of it. and this is a particularly sweet example of its kind, but not sweet in the saccharine way. i'm very happy that it didn't become a love triangle, i think that would have detracted from the story.
