this is so good. once again, sensei work is amazing. the art and story are just awesome.

this statement "why am i a good kisser?" that made me thinking also and made some guesses. sensei works are not just about hot guys making out. there's story in it.

i just read the scanlated chapter 1 and i want more.

Rating at that time: 10

EDIT: I finished reading this. Well, it started interesting but gone downhill. With only 1 volume (it's so short) plus staggered releases, the story prolly wane and eventually lost my interest.

.. kind of funny actually but still TOO FAST!!
but it was interesting and cute smile BUT... it COULD'VE been better!! sad

Manga equivilant of a fluffy kitten

XD Strange title but i stand by it. This manga, despite being only 4 chapters so far makes me feel amazingly warm and fuzzy inside, the same sort of feeling you get when you hold something amazingly cute (kitten/puppy whatever). So far i'm being reeled in. The gradual progression is fast enough to keep you satisfied but still leaves you wanting more. It is truly addictive to read. Add in the (as usual) superb art and panel pacing and you've got a top rate story on your hands. 10/10

It moved too fast and too rushed. Don't expect any real character development. They don't really seem true to their characters either; so you can help to be thrown off a bit. Also too many characters considering how unimportant (and a bit uninteresting too) they really were.

Overall: A shallow story. Just an enjoyable story. Something to pass time with!
I am being a bit harsh, but people were raving about it and I don't understand why :-)

Why so many good reviews?!?!

Well..this is not particularly bad, nor particularly good. Pretty common storyline...the pace was a little rushed...no, I wouldn't say rushed; it's more like it was too simple. Everything fell into place with almost no conflict. Everything was too easy. I understand that the focus of this isn't how they get together but how they develop into an actual couple and the ups and downs of the relationship, but even so it was too perfect and it annoyed me. Yeah, of course the popular, perfect, hot, gorgeous guy will confess to his ordinary male friend, who'll almost immediately return his feelings! I don't buy it. I don't know, maybe fluffy stuff just isn't for me. I want to see some suffering before the characters' lives become perfect.

There's no background on them either, which is bad because the eternally popular guy doesn't say why he specifically likes the ordinary uke.

Also, the personalities change really irritates me. Taiga was deliciously my type: cruel, cold, pushy and hurtful. Then he became all soft and ukish. When he blushed because Nagisa said they should have sex, that was a TOTAL turn off. The category "person who changes for love" or something like that should be listed here as well. And it's not only Taiga. Nagisa, who was previously straight, turns gay in the blink of an eye and is suddenly possessive and all! But I laughed really hard when Nagisa said himself that he was gonna be the bottom! Haha

Nevertheless, I found this enjoyable. And I'll admit: it did get me smiling at parts. Well, it is Minase Masara-sensei after all, which also means the art is amazing.
And...I'm curios about the next chapter, ok?! >.>
But over all, not her best, indeed.

Nagisa is truly the cutest uke ever! I love this story and can't wait for more. The plot is pretty commonplace but it still leaves you wondering what sort of trials this couple will face in the future. Nagisa is a refreshing change from the super passive ukes in the manga I've read lately and I also like that they didn't immediately have sex. That kind of irks me when the couples immediately sleep together when they confess or worse before they confess.

The art's really nice too. I'm kind of embarrassed I didn't realise who the mangaka was since Minase Masara is one of my favorites. But this is just the kind of manga I would expect from such a gifted mangaka.

Predictable, I didn't find anything special in this manga... Nevertheless it was still a fun read. I didn't really like the seme that much. It wasn't the art or the appearance, I just didn't like the personality or his name...Especially when Nagisa kept saying his name so much. The dramatic "I'm breaking up with you." and the act of a crazy woman tying up Taiga in the chair was rushed and wasn't really the tear jerker I was looking for. It was rather ridiculous really, not realistic in the slightest. The only reason I'm not giving it a really bad rating is because of the art.

I have to lower rating because...it would be good story...BUT... it should be at least in three/four volumes or more...not everything in one volume... everything was going too fast...there wasn't time for much emotions and stuff... I believe the story got a big potential...but unfortunately didn't get enough space...

It was a little bit weird that Nagisa accepted Taiga so easily, since he has been straight all along.
And Taiga was too clingy for my liking, and he seemed unable to take charge when it was needed.
Nagisa's the one who has to take initiative, and Taiga ended up going along with him in my point of view.

Entertaining read!

There's a ton of stories with a similar plot, two best friends where one has a crush on the other, plus one of them is super popular and all that... it's a yaoi cliche.
But I still enjoyed this story, the characters, the art...there was an unexpected twist... it was all pretty good! I really liked Taiga and Nagisa was a good guy too.
I personally would prefer such stories, where the best friend confesses, to be more of a character thing, you know. That the character has an inner struggle, worries, fears, and honestly thinks everything over because being confessed to by your best friend who's the same sex when you never thought about him romantically before isn't usually something you get be over and done with in a day or two.
So I felt the manga lacking there, because Nagisa was shocked at first, but his shock turned into love very fast and it seemed like only a few days later, he was already jealous and possessive of Taiga.
I wouldn't call the manga bad just because of that though, so I'd still recommend it as a light and fluffy read, as long as you aren't completely sick of yaoi cliches!
