Description
From Yen Press:
Mochizuki General Hospital boasts some of the most well-trained (and well-endowed) nurses in town. But though these ladies spend much of their day battling disease, their after-hours are spent fighting a very different sort of disease. Under the leadership of the hospital chairman, a handful of staff members and local teenagers form a group of mercenary assassins, targeting the "cancers" of society and excising those individuals before their wickedness spreads.

Action, violence and ecchi, masterfully drawn

Good enough that I bought all volumes so far. The customer is always right.
The main strenght of this manga is the mecha/gun/armor design and the rule of cool. Also the fact that criminals act like real criminals: rape, drug smuggling, using wonen as reproduction tools, and finding and exploiting loopholes in the law to avoid capture. Just like chinese criminals IRL. They do not care if you are offended, and neither do I.
Arashi is a cool, strong, competent character that uses violence only when necessary, and gets the girl too. That's my kind of protagonist! Quality of the drawings is great, with unique designs and crazy weapons.
This is a good example of why manga is the superior product. 9/10 just because there are even better drawn manga like Bastard!!, Alita or Blame.

Would have been better if it made more sense.

The main character Arashi's backstory made no sense at all, while the other two characters Oriha and Mikoto. Are completely redundant to the series in general. As for Yuuko, Sayo, and Miki, I feel that they should have been the ONLY main characters of the series just like Charlie's Angels. Now that would have been good to see, but it's a shame that it didn't happen. Also I think it's very disrespectful, of this series being a "spiritual successor" to Highschool of the Dead. That series was focused only on zombies, while this series is focused only on fighting crime and terrorism. You see they have no connection with each other, other than having the same artist.

dude before you people comment plz look at the author first it doesn't mean same drawing came from the same author =_= the author of Highschool of the dead is his brother SATOU Daisuke.
while the author of this manga is SATOU Shouji.
so don't put them on the same ground.
anyway like the drawing story is typical so i'll rate it decent biggrin

Highschool Of the Dead was fun, this one is just above average.

Seriously I'm pretty disappointed with this mangaka. It's like he thought, "Oh well the zombie craze is over, time to stop this series halfway through a significant story event and just do something else."
C'mon dude, at least have the decency to wrap up the current arc before dropping it.

As for Triage X actual, it's an okay series. The setting is a tad wierder than HOTD (despite the latter being about the zombie apocalypse) and its characters are less memorable and distinct. Fanservice is there in spades obviously but other reviewers have already talked about it plenty enough.

Hell I just miss HOTD. It's not FMA level of awesomeness but it sure is more entertaining than this series sad

This manga is a generic female fighters ecchi manga with stereotypical shonnen characters.
A pity that High school of the dead was put on the back burner by the author for this manga.
Although it could be worse, he could have turned high school of the dead into an overpowered female fighters manga,

Bland softcore porn with immature violence

I agree with some of the cats here that Satou Shouji is incapable of writing and this whole "mature" shounen manga stuff seldom works. Just titZ + Violence and not much substance. The porn inspired art isn´t for me but is reasonably well done so that aspect is ok. The rest a "meh" with a focus on exhibitionism later and the usual misuse of rape (in an all ages book no less) so give it a pass and his reviewed Highschool of the Dead is similar 4/10 nonsense.
If you want to read a dark comic with a present day setting about anti-heroes then go for a classic Batman tale, Destroy and Revolution (9/10), Until Death Do Us Part (9,5/10) or one of NARITA Ryohgo works as DRRR.
Real porn counts too of course and that industry is at least honest unlike this sex-ploitative joke. Shouji´s string of "proper" hentai sucks though.

If you're into fanservice, gore and impossible stunts this is for you.
It depends on what you're into if you'd like this or not.
It's pretty similar to Highschool of The Dead, but just with living humans and cheesy medical lines/terminology as regular words such as "tumor" instead of "target"

It's starts off with action and fan service to grab the reader but because of that the story is automatically at a disadvantage with the characters and sadly it doesn't recover.

You get no feel for any of the characters other than they are killers following orders and the main character is a psycho who kills to find meaning to his life. If anything you get a Punisher vibe because they are killing rotten people but I find it funny how the villain is always doing something immoral to a woman to be more hated. It'd be nice if Shouji could write up villains that don't revolve around raping women to garner bad guy status.

But in the end it's just absurd to believe these high schoolers are crack shots with a gun, precision drives of all vehicles and experts in hand to hand combat along with having extremely high battle intelligence, heck one of them is even an idol who also happens to be 14 yet has breast larger than someone who is 19+. They basically have Solid Snake skills from out of thin air.

This is a far cry from HSoTD but the art is the same top level stuff so at least Shouji still has that going.

Action movie in comic format

The characters and storyline are laughably absurd, but this series does a great job of delivering on its key features: mindlessly entertaining action sequences and lots of boobs. An amusing enough read if you aren't expecting too much.

Teenage killers unbeliavable...? Go check trained child soldiers in some of the TODAY warfare areas and id say you wont find yourself laughing when staring at the barrel of Kalashnikov while collecting your legos which the kid smacked out from your mouth.

Anyway. This would fall to dead average crevice without Shoujis drawing skills thats for sure. Story first couple chapters give the image that this is definetly something which needs Shoujis skills, or it would drop dead quite soon.
