I can add nothing that hasn't been said already- only that anyone and everyone can enjoy this manga. It's cute, funny, suitable for all age groups, realistic but incredibly charming.
The art is great, not because it's pretty (it's not, really), but in that it is perfectly suited to the mood and theme of the story.

Yotsuba is incredibly loveable, and a typical child. People who are tired of seeing five-year-olds behaving like teenagers (like that kid I once saw in a manga who was trying to flirt with his kindergarten teacher) will just want to hug this sweet, innocent child-like kid.
Every single one of the characters (Daddy, Ena, Fuka, Asagi, Mom, Dad and even Jumbo and Yanda) is incredibly endearing in his or her own unique way.

If you want a break from the typical manga style, and feel like going for something refreshing that will leave you grinning, then Yotsubato! is definitely for you.

The only manga that manages to make me grin like an idiot throughout the entire read.

The mangaka captures the "magic" of daily routine in such a simple, yet fascinating way that it's simply fun to read. The passion for the smallest details, as well as the characters, are also incredible.
Oh, did I mention how much I love the drawing style?

It's nothing breath-taking, but it doesn't need to be anyway.
It's one of those works, that gives you a warm & fuzzy feeling and that's exactly what anyone needs from time to time.

BUT PRAISE. It's not really a question of whether its funny or adorable or whether you should try it. That would be a dumb question... a no brainer.

Any criticism? There's a few more gals than guys, the guy was coming off a story with mostly girls. Though the writer makes use of all of them and makes them all likeable. With the way japan's industry is, a darker mind might not think of it as having her interact with a girl in each age range(a mom, an older sister type, and someone closer to her age makes sense, but there's double that).

And while this manga is funny, and gives you warm fuzzies... well that's it, that's what it gives you, and not more. It does it well. Better than most, without whoring its characters.

Yotsubato is a feel good manga, it's one of those that uplifts you either by being funny or reminding you that life has nice moments in it. It also just works as a humour mag, as long as you don't mind a lack of salacious or dirty humour. You won't miss it while reading this.

So hilarious!!! I read the latest book of this series during finals week when I was up to the ceiling with balled-up stress and I have to say it was the best decision I ever made.

Every time I read this manga, my faith in humanity grows, despite all the tragic things that happen in this world. It really makes me feel like every human being is good at heart, which may seem childish, but maybe that's not so bad.

Basically, it makes me happy. heeheehee

All aspiring child-psychologists should be made to take an exam on this manga before getting their qualifications.

Some of the best comedy ever!!
Do not eat/drink stuff while reading this, because you'll end up staining the manga/monitor as a result from all the laughter.

Two thumbs and two big toes up!!

I picked this up at the library since I had nothing to read over the summer and I was not looking forward to a book-less beach day. At first glance I almost groaned because it looked childish, stupid, and annoying. Although after the first chapter, I found myself annoying my aunts because I couldn't stop laughing. It's full of absolute adorable and semi-random humor. A perfect read. It doesn't have a real main plotline, but the novels are broken up into separate stories per chapter, all hilarious. A must-read to add to your list!

Without being overdone, just believable and cute quirkiness.

Lack drama but it's actually a good thing, the only negative of this manga is the slow release.

There is something about this manga... It's for everyone and I absolutely LOVED it! I'm still reading of course. Its absolutely addicting and brilliant.
At first I thought, 'what could be so good about this?' but when I read it I realised how absolutely addictive it is! I wish my childhood was like that!
This is actually the type of manga i've been searching for since Skip Beat! A cute day-to-day type feel-good manga.
Art is great - Yotsuba looks so cute! ^^
Characters - None annoying, all realistically cute and innocent ^^
I give a thumbs-up to the mangaka!! I am totally buying this manga when I get the chance!! (I want to support it!!)
