CUTEE

OMG this manga is one of the best shoujo-romance mangas EVER XD
the characters are very unique wink
& the romance between the main characters is adorable ^^
it's different compared to other shoujo-romance manga where the girl or guy falls in love and try to win their heart and etc.
In this manga, they are somewhat rivals in "the last game" and unconsciously, they fall in love with each other ^^ but they're both shy about their feelings and yeah smile

While the story line and characters feel cliche, I love love love the unique twist to it. It's quite comical and I like the artwork. This is definitely a must read.

While the first chapter may be the reverse of S.A, it is quite witty in the later chapters so I think the author did a great job toward each chapter!

Great manga. Epic romance potentials all around. I don't really find it funny though; most of the time I'm too busy feeling bad for Yanagi -- trying so hard yet /failing/ so hard due to Kujou's zero social experience.

The best-in-school rivals have always been a great premise for shoujo (as long as one doesn't butcher it by making it too one-sided and stale like in S.A.). This one goes the extra mile to turn most of the shoujo tropes on its head -- with the guy obsessively worried over the relationship while the girl is 'full career' and doesn't have a clue of what love is... brilliant.

This is some quality shoujo, reminiscent of Koi dano Ai dano and faintly resembling Kaichou wa Maid-sama (both considered pretty good to a normally shoujo-bashing reader like me). If you enjoyed those, you will very likely enjoy this. I'm feeling lazy right now, so I'll just stick with a list—

LIKES
1) Yanagi is super cute! As a child, he's a smug little nouveau riche bastard who's both adorable and funny. It's interesting to see how he changes as he falls in love with Kujou. The manga is mostly written from his point of view; generally, I think the guy's POV is more interesting than the girl's, and I liked reading his thoughts. He's definitely my favorite "Prince" type of character—a handsome and seemingly perfect guy who, in reality, is kind of an arrogant and whiny tool bag.
2) Kujou is a respectable heroine with good values. She's smart, athletic and hardworking. She has a depth that her superficial shoujo heroine peers lack. The only thing I disliked about her is her dense nature, but then again, this seems to be standard for shoujo. I'll forgive the mangaka because there wouldn't be much of a story if she weren't so.
3) The story itself is engaging and a bit fluffy. I like how it starts from when they met in elementary school. The later addition of a rival love interest also makes things pretty juicy! This manga basically contains everything I like in a romance. I won't list the specifics and spoil it for potential readers!
4) It's decently amusing. I didn't find it laugh-out-loud hilarious, but it definitely had me smiling.

MEH (i.e., not bad, but not good either)
1) The art style is a "cute" type that appeals to middle school girls, but can still be enjoyed by older audiences. The characters look a little too young for college students. However, I quickly got use to this so it wasn't a big deal.
2) The "last game" part of the story doesn't really seem to fit. Firstly, when Yanagi announces the "last game," Kujou doesn't seem to understand what's going on because she probably never considered their past squabbles to be a game or contest. In my humble opinion, the whole idea just seemed forced and didn't really fit the context of the story. Oh well, it makes a decent title.

All in all, this is a cute, enjoyable read. Definitely worth the time!

It's a nice romantic manga, dont get me wrong. But more than that i think, that, above all, Its Hilarious and Cute...
It funny that the female lead knows so much about Fighting (self-defense), Cooking, Academics and all that.. but she doesn't know much at all about... Friendship and....

This manga is AMAZING, HILARIOUS, so reverse! Hahahahahahaha...

Each chapter it's just like I can't stop laughing and everything. When something start to seem serious, there will be a punch and it's just AMAZING, HILARIOUS all over again.

I'm reading at chapter 8, and I think I haven't got bored of it yet. Maybe because there's development. And seriously, this is AMAZING, HILARIOUS.

Hahahahahaha

So much better than SA
Rating: 10.0 / 10.0

Okay, first off, I highly disagree with those people who says that this is JUST LIKE SA. Sorry to say, this is way better than SA. I'm not saying this out of hate for SA because SA was the very first manga I read, finished and loved. I'm guessing that people only say that this is similar to SA because of Don't-want-to-be-2nd-forever spiel of the male lead. But that's the end of the similarity of these two manga. The male lead and female lead cannot be compared with SA's lead characters. They are two different couples.

Secondly, the plot IS MOVING. Others just say that its plot isn't moving because they are still loving the typical shoujo with confessions in the first few volumes and the rest of the volumes focuses on the relationship that can easily be broken by the third wheel. on the other hand, this story focuses not only on romance. It goes beyond romance towards true love. It think it's quite adorable that the author doesn't rush things for this manga. After all, you can't feel true love overnight.

Overall, I LOVE this manga. It forms a great plot and you can see how characters develop in a step-by-step process. By the way, the art is really pretty. It's simple and pleasing to the eyes.
