Abandoned in a cabbage patch as a baby, Iseulbi [aka Misty-Rain] is saved from certain death by a witch who brings her up as her own. Far from the company of humans, she is raised as one of the Dokebi, a magical race from Korean myth. Among them she is happy and content, until one day she loses the trust of her protector, causing the enchantment that had kept the secret of her true identity to be broken. She is cast out to the world of her birth and must find her place among her own kind.
The start was great but wish the human world story part was better and it drag on. The ending was alright, it would be nice to see if they had children in the end X3. The artwork was wonderful. I'm looking forward to read the author other work.
The best thing about this book was the beautiful artwork without a doubt! As far as the rest of the story it was alright but a bit boring, cheesy, and it tended to drag on with uselessness. It's more fantasy and less romance, and I felt like it built up 7 volumes just to have this short crappy ending. Unfortunately there was no real romantic development between Misty and Sirus; it was a one-sided love if anything. But, if you're looking for a non-romantic, comedic, fantasy, with amazingly gorgeous artwork, then this is for you!
The only complaint I have is the love interest choice

Misty-rain had much more chemistry with Hanbit than she did with sirius...sirius is too much of a mary sue and not very realistic. In the end she leaves her human family to go with sirius...it was unexpected since
there really isn't that much of a romance between the two.
When I first started reading it, I thought it would be a classic fairytale. We started with Misty-Rain as a child living in the land of Dokebi without knowing anything about her parents - I found that rather typical. I liked that the author added elements from the Greek Mythology, such as Medusa, Fates, etc.
Anyways, later it takes place in the human world & it turns very boring. First of all, between volumes 3-5, the story pace is very slow. It is just school-life, with much of comedy and seeing Misty-Rain doing stupid things. Basically, I found all of the characters annoying.
Only in volumes 6-7, it becomes more dark & mature. Yet still, it does not saves it. When I first picked the manhwa, I thought it was gonna be about some older girl, judging by the cover, but it's just a kid. And I didn't like the artwork at all.
Be prepared to face a fairytale like story. And try to ignore world wide know magical references(sleeping beauty, Medusa etc.). Because this story is not bad. It's originality would be greater without those references, but that's only my opinion. Despite that I think this is readable. Author presents us with a mystical kingdom, a damsel in distress(constantly), and a prince on a white unicorn, a witch, a curse etc... It's not so bad to read something different from time to time, and it's unique enough to be interested.
btw. Misty-Rains character reminded me of someone- That orphan girl who dreamed of becoming a lady... don't know why exactly.
Loved it!! Though some parts dragged on so long, like for instance I wish it hadn't taken so long for you know who's memory to come back.. But all in all it was great. The artwork was gorgeous. Would've loved a more detailed ending reunion though..
I'm not gonna lie, I totally shed a couple tears when they sent her to the human world... even though i KNEW it was gonna happen.. Yeah I know... kinda pathetic. :p

Oh god, sometimes this series just made me want to pull my hair out... it was that annoying at times. The story was nice most of the time and it seemed to be moving along just fine, but then this crazy, weird BS popped out of nowhere.
I liked the love story between Misty Rain & you-know-who-if-read-the-story, but, aargh, the story seemed to drag on (am I being redundant?). Anyways, it was a sweet story, regardless of that drag-gy aspect. And the art was pretty, too, IMO.
At first when reading this series I wasn't sure whether I liked it or not, but kept at it to see how it would end. One thing I loved about it immediately was the gorgeously detailed artwork. The story is a bit slow-going at first, but gradually picks up as it goes along and everything fits into place by the end. A beautiful, memorable fairytale story.
Delectable, indescribable, too many pretty words pop into my mind that can portray this story. I admit that at times I wanted the story to go a certain way, but that's what makes manga/manhwa, manhwa/manga. Lee Mi Ra's talents at portraying her characters are amazing.
