was a decent series...at first
im not gonna review this for long basically it was an interesting storyline with a good amount of horror and dark plots and it had a lot of potential but it got axed or something i really wanted this to last but what can you do
Fun while it lasted.
One of those trashy seinen that doesn't quite manage to bring something of actual quality to the table and so resorts to extreme graphic violence, ecchi/brazen nudity, people being tragically killed every two seconds or a combination of any of those three in order to elicit some kind of emotional response from the reader. Along with some half-assed pacifist moral message thrown in, but seriously, ignore that. Sometimes you're in the mood for something trashy and mindless with blood and boobs everywhere, and this does the job for 10 chapters, except for the annoying "but I don't like fighting" mewling that the protagonist keeps spouting.
Seemed like autor ran out of money or time...
this is just one theory that i read on mangafox, but i think the same:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The world is kind of reaching its end (cities getting destroyed by meteors). Humans had to figure out how to survive and that's why they took all of the corpses (the ones who died at the begining) and mutated them with animals. They have to choose the best one (both most rational and strongest) and after that they will mutate all the people who is still alive so they have more chances to survive.
wtf happen in chapter 10?
O_O was this axed or ... I don't get the ending if anyone understood what happen please pm me and let me know however I did read volume 1 like 8 months ago then read volume 2 just recently but i don't think that had to do with the ambiguous ending would've given it a 9/10 but that ending -_-... i guess i can pretend chapter 10 never happened like i did with second half of death note and last chapter of mirai nikki ^^
Very interesting, but cut abruptly...
i always rate manga on how interesting it is and i certainly found this interesting. It also had a good plot in my view, i've read a decent amount of manga and i from memory haven't read anything similar to this plot so i liked it a lot, very fresh in my view, i also liked the ideals that the main character had been given from his grandfather, very nice in my opinion, especially the redemption part. Overall i can't understand why it was cancelled because it was obvious it had so much more to give and was cut abruptly. Anyway i'll give it 8.5 because it was too short and obviously the story suffered hugely from it (not because it wanted to, but still)

I want to give 9 for 1-9 ch. It's hard to believe, but ch.10 marked ending with giving only some clue to how real ending should looked like. I was really attracted to the story, but then it ended out of blue.
I don't feel I wasted my time reading it. Artwork and plot lines are above average. If you want to see some nice story (ignoring the ending) with cute babes, I strongly recommend.

Can't say much...
I can't say much about this manga and it would be wrong to judge it since it probably was canceled or sth.I didn't even understood the ending like all of the guys on forums who speculate. The story/plot is kind of generic and it looks like the author's previous works Battle Royale as a genre, but what's original anymore in the first place?Anyway,i would like to see more of it but i don't think that sth like this will become possible in the first place. One,thing i can say for sure:God damn man YOU CAN DRAW.Yeah, the artwork is top notch, the gore is amazing and the girls are like they have jumped from an old school hentai. My only complain is:
Spoiler (highlight to view)
why they retain their clothes when they transform into a monster?
Interesting beginning, then fizzle...
Started out as an interesting story, but then just fizzled out and died without any real storyline or ending.
Apparently there was supposed to be some sort of deep psychological or philisophical meaning in this series, but the story was so muddled up that the point just got lost in the confusion.
This might have worked as the first two volumes of a longer series, but as a complete story in its own right it's a failure.

Such a shame...
I actually liked the beginning of the story, and was expecting a great concluding ending... But if there's a sequel (more like a conclusion to the end) then maybe it might actually be worth reading.
Well, if you want to enjoy the art, be my guest because in my opinion, the art won't let you down, unlike the plot...
Not really sure what to make of this
Despite the quality of art, I'm afraid this story is going to boil down to naked women and violence with a cliche message that killing is bad. I'm hoping that there'll be some developments in the story to change my impression, but it's looking bleak.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
*Edit* It ended much sooner than I expected it too, but with the possibility of a sequel. Based on how it ended, the only way to vindicate the story to the readers is to definitely have a sequel, otherwise, reading this was a waste of time. Overall, I'm still not sure what to make of this.
