cute but rushed

This was a very simple story that had a lot of potential, but didn't make full use of it.

The premise involves a girl who can see spirits---and there is more to her than what meets the eye.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
She is a living spirit and doppelganger who separated from the original person after the original got into a serious accident. She was split from the original spirit, and so is not a full human being.

I hated how the author didn't develop the interesting idea of living doppelgangers-- what a pity.

On the other hand, this manga had a sweet ending and a cute romance (as unrealistic as it may be)... so it was okay. The ending was too abrupt, but you can bet that everything turned out well for the main couple.

That's it? O_O

...wait, what? That's the ending?! I'm not satisfied!! It seems like it just got cut short!! D=

The characters is funny. I laughed whenever she said his debt went up, according to the ghost behind him. Mild romance and mild horror, which I'm glad 'cause I'm not a fan of horror. Quite interesting to see what's the truth of Maki's body.

Hmm, I really like the storyplot. It was building up so nice, yet the ending (??) kinda just cut us off. Because of that, my rating went down.

This story and its characters could have easily developed in depth with additional chapters, yet it wrapped itself up well despite that. The series also offered a continuous flow of surprises which was very much appreciated.

this is one of those mangas that should have been longer but unexpectedly it was made too short. i find this really interesting. the characters are quite loveable and funny. i was really charmed by Maki-chan and Murakami-kun. the only thing that i have a bit of a problem is the ending. i'm looking for something more. i sure hope that the mangaka would make an omake for this. anyway, i think that is is a must read if you have nothing worthwhile to do.

This series was cute and it made me happy and I don't have a damn clue why. It was confusing but as long as you don't bother with things like the plot it's a fun read.

Well, what can i say other than it's a good read, it's not amazing though and i thought it would be better. It defiently put a smile on my face, the charaters are likeable, and the art matches the story well, and the stories were very interesting as well. If your looking to invest your time in a manga, pick this up.

It was good, because I love spirits stuff, and though nothing really made me scared too much (at least not until I turned off my lights to read at night w/o getting in trouble), it was a nice read. The extra omakes were actually my favorite parts, give them a read. D:<
The ending wasn't bad, but was badly executed. :[

Light-hearted mystery and romance
by Telengard

Loaded with humor and jokes, this manga doesn't take itself too seriously, and it's easy to read. The supernatural elements are interesting, and the horror elements are very mild. Though the romance is probably the main point of the story, it's somewhat sidelined until the second volume.

The characters aren't very remarkable in themselves, but all have unique personalities. I was able to relate to the main characters fairly easily, and all were like-able. Maki-chan is adorable in her own unique way, but is a very mysterious character indeed.

The first volume of the manga is mainly episodic, with most stories requiring the detectives to find clues and solve a mystery. The second volume is a continuum where the main characters learn from each other, develop, and evolve their relationships.

The plot is a little erratic, with a few unproductive side stories filling time until the manga concludes. Think of the first volume as your introduction to the characters and their circumstances, while the second volume is where the plot really gets going.

Most readers will find something to like about this manga, whether it's the stories, the humor, or the characters. I liked it alot, and will watch for future works from this magaka.
