The overall manga was entertaining. The setting was decent, the art was ok, and the plot was good to a degree.

However, at times the characters and art portrayal of emotion were overly dramatic, there were several plot holes and unanswered mysteries, and the ending felt rushed and uninspired.

It's a fairly rote shounen that's mainly dark by the merit of more gore and rape taking place of more conventional fanservice. As much as I'd like to write more about it, nothing really stands out.

I enjoyed this story at the beginning - some of the overarching aspects of the story, like the revenge setup and some of the character designs, range from decent to great. But eventually any potential the story may have had is squandered - in gratuitious sex scenes; large-scale wars spanning multiple chapters where the backgrounds are too busy and the character designs too similar to tell apart friend and foe; plot hooks never receiving a satisfying resolution; etc. And the final arc is just a colossal waste of time which hardly yields any emotional satisfaction.

Great entertaining manga. Very Powerful, great art and good ending. I liked most of the characters albeit i can't name them all cuz there names are way to damn confusing. I loved the action and the art. Majority of female cast suffer from wearing clothes disease. Despite that there are many strong albeit sexualized female characters in this series. its a great fantasy series and a very rich environment when i think was explored well. Honestly i'd love to see more of the world or a prequel to this manga or something.

I enjoyed it. It had a bit underwhelming final fight honestly but overall was still satisfying. 7/10.

Seriously that ending? Absolute shit. No satisfaction at all, just a hollow feeling of "...That's it?" To those who actually followed this crap on the regular till it finally got put down like the diseased mongrel it was, I feel sorry for you all.

Thou quite cliched and a pretty generic seinen, I have to say it's been an enjoyable read so far, MC story is the classic revenge but it's at least interesting and the MC may appear shallow but he isn't, thou he's not a great character he's not a bad one. Also, fight are good as is the art-style thou I can't say the fights or powers of the characters are very consistent.
If you like berserk then this is a good alternative while waiting, of course, it's not remotely as good but it's a good enough read.

I liked the setting and story, I also liked the art and general style... BUT, there's one thing that ruined it all. There's too much focus on rape and sex. People get raped and we see explicit sexual scenes everywhere. Even if it isn't rape, it's consensual sex. Hell, there's even reverse rape where the mc gets assaulted. Stuff like this could pass and be good in a pure hentai manga with no story that you read to jack off, but in a story where plot and shit matters? No.

I always wanted some sex in manga/novels, between the mc and the main girl/s. Usually, stories from japan severely lack such things. It always grinds my gears when they clearly have a really intimate relationship yet never cross the line, I mean, damn, are they impotent? Even if the author doesn't want to change their relationship and thus the story if it's something like a romantic comedy, it'd be nice if we'd at least get a nice sex scene at the very end, but that rarely ever happens either. But hot damn, there's a limit to what's acceptable. Here we see rape and sex everywhere, it loses its appeal really fast... And really, villains that rape everything that moves and people that even try to rape the mc is not interesting. Keep it under check or just go ahead and write a pure hentai story instead, because that's pretty much what this is.

I totally not understand people who rates this manga less than 6 cause it great inmany ways: plot, art, action, realistic... Really i have no idea how it can be rated so low. If you did not read it yet: have a try!

P.s. i like that erotic and violence scenes are good served.

-This manga was one of my all time favorite when it first started to come out
-It has a strong start all the way until the hiatus
-After the hiatus, the degree in story/plot was not up to its usually standard
-Art is still amazing through out any volume
-I would like to see more flash backs of the time when there was war
-Even so it has not been great as of late, I believe it was a worth while read and hope it will get better again

Starting out well as a harsh revenge "Berserkish title" but now suffers from slow pace, shoneny battles and lack of new ideas.
Getting annoyed by the fact that Konzell is outclassed in battle time and time again, and has to rely on others or the black sword to prevail. For all its seinen elements, the generic main character battles now make this a very shounen series which is a huge let down.

P.S. Berserk is 100 times better. Although the pacing of both series has slowed down, the only advantage Ubel blatt has is that it is released on a more regular schedule.
