Chapter 4 -6 is cringe cause it's the stereotypical misunderstanding bit
It seems to get cleared up in chapter 7
Chapter 14 is cliché as all hell

Chapter 16,17 is cliché imo ( I don't like when manga decides that the antagonist and protagonist get along because of 1 single interest, being the male lead, as well as I hate how femc forgave the antagonist, like bruh, she ruined ur life in highschool, u can be a bit petty in the way u interact with her. Not humiliating way, but like make a firm stance, let's agree to be acquaintances)
Chapter 18 blueballs us
Chapter 30 =blueball
chapter 35= BLUE BALLS US SO HARD LIKE OH MY GOD
The female antagonist is literally the only one who is willing to bitch slap the femc and tell her bluntly her problems. Everyone else is too much of pussy to tell Mc that she is dense as fuck
Chapter 39, she gives her response, they acknowledge it, but get interrupted by a fucking side character, like this is too convient of a time to be fucking interrupting a moment
Chapter 40 reconfirmed the main thing in the fucking previous 40 chapters of blueballs, it is satisfying

So far the Mc is a bit cringe, she is like "wow, I have friends, I never had friends due to circumstances, but now I do, what do friends do together" she is like a literal new baby fawn just born out of the womb of her mom. She does not know how to interact with people. Despite living for the past several years. She bound to have some social skill I would imagine, but this manga portrays her as a literal infant in a highschoolers body. Hopefully the manga gets better

Tbh the manga is cliché as hell, I'm on chapter 77 and tempted to drop it

I enjoyed the manga and even binged it. I read all of it in 3 days. Although the romance between the main couple felt slow at times, I liked how the series focused on Sawako and her friends rather than her relationship with Kazehaya. The side couples and characters were all really likeable. Ayane felt the most realistic with her thoughts and relationship. Overall I would recommend this to people who like reading long romances and to people who don't get bored easily.

Best Shoujo for now

It's been a year since I've watched and read this and from then on no one can top this yet. The anime was 10/10 but the manga felt a little bit stretched so it's 9/10 otherwise, their character developments were so satisfying to see.

Slow and gentle

This manga may be slow and has some moments that drag, and holds those stereotypical shoujo manga quirks like, lack of communication causing issues, and rivalry. But it's one of my favorite manga I've read to date.
To me, this ended steadily and left me satisfied with both the main couples character development as well as their relationship development. I'm a sucker for some good communication and actually working things out verbally and that's what got me in the later volumes, kept me hooked.
As much I'd love the idea of an entire couple working through college and getting married idea, I felt it ended where it needed. I felt the big concept of this story was Sawako really working on her emotions, ability to communicate, express herself, and adapt as things change. She met these goals by the end, with the help of Kazehaya and her friends. And in return Sawako gave Kazehaya and her friends confidence as well.

Spoiler
My favorite being when she learns how to read a situation and came to a quick conclusion about who Yano is in love without anyone saying anything. Yes! Pure satisfaction.

I have a love for so many of the side couples and characters, I'd read side story for a hand full of them but I honestly need more on Chizu and Ryu.. Those two, I wanna see more of their relationship play out on panel, I definitely wanna see their agreement play out. So if you need something sweet, read this 30 volume piece.

Slow But Realistic and Lovely

- slow but steady growth and development, emphasis on the slow. occasionally drags, but it is 123 (long) chapters, so that's kind of to be expected. I do feel like it could/should have been shorter, but I can't say what should have been sacrificed because by the end, all the little steps along the way felt important. I think, despite its length, this is more of a binge manga, because unless you consume it in large chunks, the slow pace can be boring.

- that being said, every character and relationship matures so much and so well with that pacing. nobody is completely unrecognizable, but at the same time everyone is a different person in a different place by the time the story comes to a close

- every relationship is my favorite when it's the one the manga is focusing on. Like, my favorite couple in the series literally changes at least three times, and the last couple still has me asking 'how did the mangaka get me shipping this?? so strongly??'

- it feels very real and very emotional. I literally laughed out loud or cheered or started crying multiple times during reading this. not everything is perfect. there are bumps and breakups and relationships that don't work out period, and it's sad but also wonderful and refreshing.

- this is THE school life/slice of life manga. no question.

SWEET AND INNOCENT

If you want to have a break with heavy and emotional (or smut, perhaps?) manga, THEN THIS IS FOR YOU!!!
This is probably the first manga that really hooked me in the otaku world (lucky I haven't stumbled any psychological mangas that time lol) aaand this is probably the shoujo manga whenever I need to get back my sanity (from heavy mangas lol)
Aaand Kazehaya's probably one of the reason why my standard to boys is high LOLOLOL

This is just so cute. Even though it was slow and dragging, it was realllyyy worth it. The pain, the anguish, the strong desire to just bang their heads together and shout
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
"U LOVE EACH OTHER NOW KISS!!!!"
WILL LET YOU FEEL CONTENT WITH THE OUTCOME. EVERYTHING THEY'VE GONE THROUGH WILL BE VERYYYY WORTH IT. I SWEAR. Because of how the story was dragging, it made me realize (even more lol) that great things take time. How they got together was probably the best for them, considering that Kuronuma was able to express her feelings well to Kazehaya. (I honestly have problems with the girls confessing first, but this one's an exception lol)

I love how they were each other's support.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
How Kazehaya was the one who told Kuronuma to just express what she feels. And after 100 chapters, how Kazehaya admitted to Kuronuma that he admired her in more ways than one.
And I honestly think that's how a couple should be.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Be each other's number 1 fan!

A love full of innocence is something really worthy to watch for. It feels like a dream - a dream of a perfect love that touches one's soul. It gives you so much hope - hope that does not sleep. A feeling of pleasure that you can be loved like you've never been loved before. Kazehaya and Sawako is the best feeling that ever happened to me. I will forever treasure them.

What did you do in high school?

You follow Sawako and her friends for 3 years. The ending mimics that fact, as in it doesn't really feel like an end. And it's not, it's "just" the end of high school. 3 years. Make friends, find a boyfriend, find your path in life, live. 3 years of Sawako's life in a manga (with some chapters devoted to the side characters). It's a sweet and slow manga, but fitting. I wished Ryuu had more screen time though (I really like he!).

The relationships and the friendships are relatable (in their own way). They/it cover a large group of people.

The last year you are following them, I felt the plot and pacing got quicker, which I didn't appreciate. It felt like a lot was going on in that last year, which didn't need to be there, for the main couple (aka way too much side character information, which didn't need to be there. Especially when they don't have all that much screen time in the first 2 years).

I loved this series as it was unique in its own way. The romance can be described as touching, hilariously awkward, and sweet. With that said, now I feel the author is dragging the story which is killing the series. The author is delivering a reality effect onto this which to me, is really boring. I used to be eager to read whenever a new chapter is out. I even bought the volumes. But now I find the lack of incentive to continue reading...I'm at the ch 90s...well, I'm considering dropping this and just remember up to the point of them confessing. End. I recommend Stop reading after the two main couple got together bc now it's no longer hilarious and the refreshing touches are gone. It's quite stagnated...dull...right now. Used to be a 9 for me, but now it's 6.5.
