Typical shoujo manga with sanpaku-eyed female lead

This manga has good amount of comedy & silly moments, so much to the point that it overshadows the romance bit in the story. The ending feels a bit rushed & very cliche, but overall, it was an enjoyable read. If you're looking for a melodramatic romance, just don't read this one
A lighthearted shoujo without much of the romance.

Beauty Pop is a shoujo, but don't expect the romance to be a big part of that. And honestly? I was okay with that. The chemistry between the protagonist Kiri and the two love interests, Naru and Ochiai, isn't super strong.
Comedy-wise, though? Slapstick central. It was fun and entertaining to read, even if some of the characters were a bit too loud and chatty for my liking (some more moments of quiet would have been nice personally, pacing-wise), and some stuck to their archetype a little too closely (Iori with his English and Ken with his "sorry"s were the biggest offenders).
Really, what makes the manga shine is Kiri. She has an absent-mindedness and a sharp sense of sarcasm that is just plain entertaining, and I don't often see female heroines be written like that. But I also really enjoyed her sense of justice and compassion. The way she interacts with the world and other characters, as well as me just wanting to see what "magic" she cooks up next, is exactly what kept the pages turning for me, even when other aspects of the story fall flat.
It's nothing earth-shattering, but it's a nice read if you got time to spare and don't want something super heavy. It's classic shoujo-style through-and-through, both art-wise and story-wise. And sometimes, that's all you want in life, yanno?

I truly loved this manga, pretty amusing and the female lead is so cool and smart. Wish it didn't end and continued.
The ending left me a bit unsatisfied, since we are left to imagine everything. Wanted more resolutions and development, but oh well.

The best!

Most manga I read, I'll drop them because of poor story work or the characters blush super easily and are conceited. But Kiri was the ideal character I always wanted, you think she's normal and your average girl, but she was the daughter of famous people and act like it's nothing, but for Narumi and his arrogance and the art, he pulls it off and instead of annoying me, it makes me laugh so hard I can't breathe😓 Too much words
good characters, bad theme

Story
Story is really something that doesn’t interest me, so point taken. Club at school makes make up and other stuff, hair most important. They always took everything so seriously. Also the whole manga was making "being pretty" a thing. Like, the hell, being confident means you are confident without being pretty. jeez. So I really didn’t like the story. The romance wasn’t developed enough for my liking. Also, they were all guys in that club. In reality, such thing as fashion is more or less for girls. And this drama on the various contests. I think it would be better to make them lose sometime. They won every time.
Art
Art was good, easy to tell the characters apart and cute. Old men were drawn really strange though. I think I don’t like the eyes she draws, but still better than average shoujo.
Characters
Very good point of this manga. The main girl (Kiri) is incredible. Dull and boring. Not that that’s bad. She never cried, yay. the guys were made also nice, but nothing remarkable. I lied Ochiai most, of course. My type of person, also, he was so tragically cute in his attempts to stalk or only touch Kiri. Poor bastard. Before he liked her, he was boring though.
Enjoyment
Yes, very good. Could be less contests and more everyday life. But still one of better shoujos. I was chearing for Ochiai though. But it was obvious from the start that she will end with Narumi.

It was pretty good and was actually very cute, but the ending was NOT the best it could have been. It wasn't one that left me reeling or dissatisfied. My thoughts when the 'last page' notice on the Mango app popped up was, "You seriously couldn't do better than that?" The rest is pretty entertaining.
Truly mediocre

All cliches, no substance. The characters are not that interesting after the first one or two volumes, and the development is minimal.
Some of the annoying cliches repeat over and over again. Like pointless competitions or "TIME IS RUNNING OUT".
Legendary scissors for some stupid reason...
The ending fits the series perfectly. It's just as mediocre as the rest of it.
It feels like the author read too much shounen manga and picked worst things out of it to use repeatedly in a story that doesn't need them.
Maybe, if I was into the theme of this manga, I could give it one more point, but I'm not. And one more point only makes it 6/10, which is not good.
If you're into haircutting and beautification, and you have read everything else, go ahead. Otherwise skip this manga.

There is basically no romance at all except for the guy having a crush.. I really like this manga bc its xtremely funny and the main character is so nonchalant about everything. Which make me wonder about the proposal: how did he propose?
Boy: hey..mar--marry me (kinda scream after saying that with blush all over)
Girl: (eating her riceball) uhm okay... (continue eating her riceball)
