this look like a one shot hoping for a serialization, thus the development is quite boring one might say. the art is acceptable, and the humour is not up to par. who knows, it can be better if its in a series but as a one shot its nothing to care about.

Well, it's similar to many of mangas it was like a mix of Othello (not love one, but battle one) and Hitman Reborn like many have commented.

It was missing the fresh excitement that many of the good new manga gives to the readers.

Nothing new here

Kentaro Yabuki. Black Cat, To-Love-Ru and To-Love-Ru's successor. Not to go overboard with a One-Shot, but I can't help but notice Kentaro's familiar flavour in character development. The inept, sort of timid male character 'somehow' manages his chances with the girl of his dreams. That's all fine and dandy for a shounen series, and the author definitely knows how attract his male audience, but the appeal for anything more never seems to merge well enough together.

Kentaro's take on a controversial premise gets pissed on all throughout this story. Action is Kentaro's regular excuse for most of his story-lines, and that is all. To make sure we think the author's put actual time and thought behind his stories, he adds some bells and whistles, but it fails outright when comparing much more intricate designs and thought-provoking idealism from authors who don't rely on their art to progress their series.

A decent read, I suppose for fans of Kentaro Yabuki. I'll come back to him when he learns to play ball.

It's pretty good but in some ways it's a lot like Hitman Reborn. Using will power is similar to using Dying Will Flames in KHR. Though, I have to admit I quite like this series, it would have been really cool if the story became an actual series! sad

the story its really well made, and i havent read much mangas about doppleganger but this one gives a exellent way to explain why seen you dopplenganger means death..., and the ecchi part was really funny, when he attacked throught the girl i thought that something like that would have happend, i just hope that whenit becomes a series it dosnt have a rushed ending... i HATE that

To me it wasn't one of Yabuki-sensei's best work. I'm sure if it did become a series than maybe it might get better but a story like this I'm sure it wouldn't last as long. All I just want Yabuki-sensei to do is bring back Black Cat so we can see the rest of the Chrono Numbers in manga and bring back Creed etc but all I just want to see Black Cat give some bad luck again. HAHA

another splendid work from Yabuki kentaro! I agree with goman222, it would have been better as a series. But, i think it's better to add a lil bit more "serious feel" tho, coz I don't really like the idea where the main character is very clumsy, always trip over and end up grabbing boobs and stuff. Great oneshot nevertheless..

well this one shot is really something mmm...
good comedies, nice actions, some romance that can be developed, and ecchi things for bonus mmm...
Yabuki-sensei already draw something for Jump-SQ, but I
know this manga still have a chance to become a series on WSJ

Unpopular One-Shot, Awsome Series

I liked what I read but it would have been better as a series. Cuz just like Bleach started with the main character overcoming a scary monster and saving a girl in the process(but differently developing into a love interest), it could become a pretty successful manga. I wish it would continue.

I liked the oneshot, one reason that i liked this oneshot was that it was drawn by yabuki kentaro, i agree with wxiagz6212 because i also wouldnt mind that it became a series. The comedy was pretty funny to me about wat happened after he helped her
