Fluffy, Simple Read

I'm a fan of this mangaka's art, but some of her manga are a bit lacking in the story department. This manga is more of a carefree, so many plotholes kind of manga where you just have to say to yourself, "Well, I guess that's how it is."

Chieri is a young girl in high school when two of her school's idols confess to her. Immediately following their duel confessions, her older sister leaves her daughter in Chieri's care due to both her and the baby being in danger. So the two guys obviously want to take care of Cheiri and the baby, Momo. Momo is incredibly cute, but she doesn't feel super important to me in the story. She occasionally gets riled up and makes me a bit annoyed. The annoyance to cute factor is out of balance in favor of annoyance. That, and her mother, Cheiri's older sister, is an incredible bitch. There is no redeeming factor for her in the story. She's just a plot device to dump Cheiri with a baby.

The two male protagonists... have very unimpressive reasons for falling in love with Cheiri. It makes me facepalm to be honest. So little care was put into developing that part of the story. It's like they came up with the idea, "Two guys with the hots for young clumsy girl get into hijinks when girl is forced to take care of baby," with little care for the actual love aspect.

It's an open ending, and it's not confirmed whether she ends up with one guy or the other. There's a certain part of the story which leans towards one of the characters (at least, from my perspective), but it doesn't go any further which makes me think the mangaka was going to choose one of them, but then wimped out since she didn't want to make a good amount of readers upset. I really dislike open endings, even more than main heroine falling in love with the guy I wasn't rooting for. It's sloppy and lazy to me. Choosing one is bound to make some people a bit upset, but now we just have everyone with lukewarm feelings about the ending. It's almost a waste.

Didn't finish

I found the first chapter so stupid and confusing that I dropped it ... so unbelievable and pointless. Why would those two guys suddenly shout that they loved her when she barely knew them? And the baby ... cute, and I like storylines with babies, but this one was just too ridiculous.

First Manga I've Read

I wasn't into manga, didn't even know what it was, but somehow I was on Yahoo Answers and seen this, searched it, and read it within a day. I mean, literally, I locked myself in my room and read from the first chapter to the end. It has been a year since I've read (heck, I can barley remember stuff I've read a hour ago), so I don't remember the names, events, or anything. After this manga, I tried other manga with the baby within them (I think it was only two though...), and I literally loved it. Now that I'm looking back with stories to compare with, it's a bit messy in storyline.
Like the other reviewers mentioned, there isn't a lot of back story, and random stuff happens. The baby is cute, but I've a baby sister, and she doesn't do half of what that baby does; but I'm not hating on that fact, it's fiction and suppose to be cute. I can't really complain since she was cute and funny.
The sister...I don't remember much about her. All I know, she drops the baby at Cheri's place (I think that's her name).
Cheri, she's cute and loveble. I can't say much since I can't remember.
I'm only reviewing this since it was my first manga, and I want to talk about the ending.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
We see her (Cheri) in a wedding dress, but we don't know who's she picked. I, for one, liked the boy who wasn't related to the prince (?) and didn't have glasses. I mean, that glasses boy is already something to Cheri, by her sister and his brother, so I want that other dude to have a relationship with her.
I remember having so many things to say about the ending, but I'm coming up with a blank. I had reasons (good or not) but I can't share them now.

Overall, this manga is for those fluffy/cute readers.

Adorables

I liked it. Yeah, its unrealistic (like a baby can move that fast) but its also adorable. It gives you a warm fuzzy feeling when you read it. Someone said Momo is overly adorable in the bad way, but I think that they are wrong. She's soooo freaking cute (especially her crush on her uncle) As for the two guys, Yomi for the win.

The ending was satisfying. I can bravely say that it was probably the best way it could of gone. I feel as though Chieri is a better mother to Momo, and that Yomi and the other guy (whose name is lost to me...Even though I just read it) are better fathers.

Also, its pretty obvious who she ends up with, so the wedding dress cover isnt that ambigious. I was so happy, I really thought it was going to be the Prez yet it turned out to be the other guy. Yay!

Did someone say sequel?

It's a waste of time and it ends without a real conclusion. There's so many things I disliked about it that it would be a waste of time to list them all.
Read it if you have time to waste.

Cute... O.O

The manga was VERY cute! The girl, Chieri, was 'cute' and the baby, Momo, was VERY CUTE!!!
I can't really say that this was a 'realistic' manga, and just so you know, by realistic, im talking about a 'realistic story'. So i can probably say that this manga isn't one of those kinds of stories.
Throughout some of the chapters that i was reading, there were many HILARIOUS seens, so i can just say that this manga also has GREAT comedy! (and some cute romance)
If you're looking for a 'cute' type of manga, then i might just say that this is the one for you...

Just so you people know, im a girl, so of course i would have this kind of opinion.

This was so annoying!! At first I thought it was cute despite te story being so random. But Momo was so annoying. Yea it's a manga, but could it had been anymore unrealistic?! Half the crap Momo did, she shouldn't have been able to do. Babies her age can't talk like that or even know words like that. Gosh!!

And what's up with the ending? Pisses me off >:0

I'm mixed about this. I know it's shoujo manga and not supposed to be realistic, but there is no consistency at all....

I liked the manga for the laughs

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
but like people mentioned, how can the main character bring the baby to school?!

The series starts off with the baby and the guys on her doorstep!

no backstory whatsoever other than maybe 2 pages in an entire volume
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
one of the guys turn out to be a prince also...and the possible issue doesn't even get addressed until another volume later...randomly

her sister also drops off the baby and only pops in at certain times...the sister doesn't seem like a horrible sort, but the baby's parents ed and sister...are a bit over the top

if you read this, keep in mind it's fiction...and suspend your sense of disbelief.

(personally, i too would recommend dadada or gakuen babysitters...both also suspend disbeliefe, but at least there's some consistency in the storyline.

This manga is really random with no support. Too many plot just jumbled together. First she gets confessed to 2 guys in one day, second she is left with her sister's baby, third she is mistaken as a princess, etc. It is just so stupid and random.
