I think I have fallen in love with this manga. It's just great, the art expresses everything in such a perfect way and the turn of events in the second volume is just magnificent . Short but brilliant.

This is a good and simple take on one psycho who, despite his insanity lost, still has a hidden humanity somewhere inside of him. The artwork is mostly brushstrokes and line works, I think it's a good combination to show strong and/or mellow emotion. The mangaka is not afraid for the characters to show slightly distorted facial structures or some of the gore. I think it was pretty effective.

Disturbing but Masterful

I don't even know if I was disgusted or enjoying myself. Either way i was enthralled. The story was one that drew you in and kept you there. I don't think it was exactly the characters that drew you in but the way it was written. The main killer wasn't supposed to be likable but because he wasn't the most evil character in the story I found myself rooting for him. I appreciated the conclusive ending that the story had...I haven't been seeing many in the manga I have been reading recently.

not Takahashi's best work

I'm a fan of Takahashi, but this one doesn't live up to Jiraishin or Tetsuwan Girl. The story is too fast-paced, most characters get too little screen time to be properly introduced and developed (and look exactly like characters from T.'s other mangas), and the attempt to make up for that with allegory is kinda misplaced (I mean, allegory? Come on, it's not the 18th century.) The artwork is still gorgeous, tho', and the suspense strong enough to make it worth a read, but only to established fans.

I read this in the amount of an hour to an hour and thirty minutes great story great art but still lacks character development.(maybe because it is so short)But, recommend for a fast read.

I have to agree to zo-sama about this one.
Same manga as Jiraishin so the art is similar, sketchy and dark
Worth reading if your not afraid of little blood

A good short series about the evil of humanity...Despite being 3 volumes long, this series accomplishes much leaving the readers to wonder the way we see the world..

Memorable Story and Art

This is another short story that stands apart from the many manga out there. The art is very well done in the mangaka's recognizable unique style and the plot is pretty well-developed and paced for a 3-volume manga. I read this a while ago and have read many other things since then but I still remember this one and how I enjoyed reading this...
