Description
From MangaProject:
Imagine what it is like to be raised by a gay father who insists that you call him "mom". The main character turns out to be a woman who doubts her sexual orientation, until she meets the right guy. She is so sure that he is "the one," that she goes out of her way to pursue him and then marries him lightning fast! Essentially, the rest of the story is about keeping the chemistry (a little twisted and crazy though).

Yoshihara's done it again

She's created another comedic masterpiece that's slightly (more like mostly) perverted. The art is pleasing to the eye, and everything seems proportionate. Yoshihara-sensei also knows how execute the joke that she wants.

The only thing that bothered me was the rehashed characters and jokes. Even though I know this is a gag manga, I still can't help but wince every time a joke that was already done in Itadakimasu (first manga by Ishihara that I've read). They're still funny to me, but it would be nice to see newer jokes.
Also, there doesn't really seem to be a plot behind the manga. All it is is an endless stream of events with no coherent relation. At first, the beginning seemed like there was some sort of overarching plot. However, after they consummate their marriage, there is no more plot.

But it is a good read, and I'd recommend it to everyone who can handle smut and who love comedy.

I love it! This is the first time (?) I've read something smut o_O seriously, I'm getting knowledge about something here haha. Oh mom, forgive me.

I love this series like crazy! Tanabe is so sexy x__x and hot in his own way. And the wife is hilarious! Seriously, do you dare asking someone ( like you husband or boyfriend ) make love to you? embarrassed She opened my eyes o_o

I love the relationship, love after marriage is really my type. The duo is soo unique and yeah, just grab this manga you'll love it <3

This is just another one of sensei's trend, the art is good but of course there are those scenes were you want to run away. I honestly pity the male leads on her stories since the women mostly act like huffing old maids. Funny enough though that no matter what you still want to finish it and see how the men suffer....haha.

strip me baby one more time

There's no wife in this world who's faster in undressing her husband's lower part than Setsuko.

The art is flawless and has a great quality (MP and SM did a great job in editing too), the husband is flawless (though, such man doesn't exist *sob*) and the wife... well... from a certain point of view she's flawless too *naughty wink*

The SD and its slapstick comedy is so well and so funny it's the best in this manga, it entertained me greatly up to the current scanlated chapter (17).

The covers are nice too, esp. the backsides ^^
"Can't wait for the rest to get scanlated", I'd like to say... but Shoujomagic unfortunately dropped it *brawl*

Kind of repetitive

I love Yoshihara Yuki, but she is at her best in oneshots or very short series where she is pressed to develop a story and conclusion. Her oneshots especially offer unexpected twists and are very stimulating. Her longer stories seem to drag on. Her humor is great, but this one fell a bit off the mark with me. It had its funny moments but it became quite repetitive. If you are one of the people that hate Yoshihara Yuki's chibis then don't read this cause it's an example of overwhelming chibi use. In general there's not much that can put me off reading her works - I'll read (and often re-read) anything I can get my hands on, but this one I know I won't pick up again. Yoshihara herself seems to have grown restless with the series in the last chapters and started breaking the fourth wall regularly. It really gave a feeling that she was done with this series.

She's there to make your day!

If there is a mangaka whose art can make your day, and make you cry but not because you're unhappy, you should trust Yoshihara Yuki and relax while reading her works, you're certainly in good hands.
You don't have to believe me, just see it for yourself, her characters will surely make you forget all gloomy or serious sides of life. Just comedy, romantic and hilarious!

Highly Amusing.

I can't believe I read the entire thing. After every chapter I thought, "this is just ridiculous. Why am I still reading this?" and I wanted to stop, yet I kept reading. Their shenanigans were so over the top, their drama was so petty, but it was so funny I HAD to keep reading.

Setsuko is a beautiful young woman, but her obsession with sex and the crude and vulgar way she's depicted and acts are just so mental, they completely destroy her charm. I love it. Setsuko doesn't give a damn where she is, as long as her husband and his willy are there, she's satisfied.

And, oh Kyousuke, he has it so hard putting up with her everyday. I think one of my favorite adventures was when she lost her memory and he admitted to liking that obsessive, beastly side of her. That just made everything better. He's a total masochist and it's adorable.

They're a bloody top couple and this manga was purely comical. They really do keep the chemistry in the relationship (They had sex every damn chapter!) and I really wish there were more chapters just so I can see what it's like for Setsuko to have to put up with a kid coming in on her love time with her hubby.

A great read if you're looking for something over the top and nonsensical. These type of stories aren't really my cup of tea, but I still enjoyed this very much. It's ace.

If you read a chapter or two every now and then, it's entertaining.

This series is best read periodically. If you sit down and try to read more than one volume at once, it gets boring: I've read four out of eight volumes and character growth and story development are yet to be seen. C'mon, throw me a bone! Even a little character background would help. (I like gag manga, but only for a short time.)

I did laugh out loud at the humour and art, though. For a little while.

I laughed so hard while reading this. I don't read many Josei because they have mature issues and I am still under 18. But this makes up for all of them. Its really funny and recommended. I recommend all works of this author (or at least most of them) because they are incredibly funny.
