An uke who actually enjoys and initiates sex!? It's a miracle! \(^_^)/

After just 2 chapters, I already really like this story. Normally womanizers annoy me, but Miki is such an adorable brat, that I can't help but love him. And Udou is a brilliant seme. He's intense and possessive (you'll see what I mean at the end of ch 2!), and he strikes me as a closet sadist too. Also, both characters show love and desire for the other, which even includes Miki being the one who comes on to Udou a lot, which definitely makes a nice change to a lot of standard BL where the uke will say "no" when they really mean "yes". And of course, as with all of Ogawa-sensei's newer works, the art is beautiful.

While this may not be everyone's cup of tea, I personally love this. 10/10 so far.

Uwahh I really like this..!

I feel like I'm almost having an Ogawa-Chise-syndrome lol. Throw me anything from her and I'd gladly devour it with joy. So I admit that I might be a bit biased, but that is not to say that this love I have for her works is purely blind. How is it that she can pull off both dark and psychological stuff AND normal and fluffy stuff so elegantly? I swear, the similarity between Ogawa-sama and Nakamura Asumiko-sensei that I can perceive is just getting more and more visible, and at the same time both of them have their own unique style that I so adore as well. How can these women be so good and talented?! xD

Lol okay, ranting aside, I really thoroughly enjoyed this manga (like I haven't mentioned that already lol). Even if the stories are probably nothing new, the mangaka still managed to deliver them with grace, making the read a pleasure all the same. Trust me when I say this, because I've read quite a few of those 'generic' type of normal BL stories out there, and I know what mediocrity and typicality truly mean. I could see that the author did pay attention to small details that aren't usually taken notice of, and the effort paid off if I do say so myself. The humour is also particularly to my taste, which is not an usual sight. The artwork is as good as ever, not excessively pretty or anything, but very enchanting and fitting with the atmosphere.

But what really took the cake this time are definitely the characters for sure. Especially in the first two stories, the setting is school-life, so without some decent characters it's going to be very hard to craft something that stands out from the rest, let alone something as enjoyable as this manga. For eg with the first story, even if the characters are not perfect initially, the author had somehow made me fall head over heels in love them and in the end I just find them such a loveable and adorable couple. Oh and I totally agree with what sensei said in the after word: 'isn't it nice when a frivolous guy becomes innocent?' xD
Honto da!

Dont hurt me Chise

Although I love Ogawa Chise's work, this manga did not touch me in any particular way. Maybe I found it too unoriginal. Two ordinary school boys falling in love with each other, bit of jealousness, bit of angsty and ... that is it. Finito. It still great manga though but nothing to compare with her another work.

Was thinking of rating 7, there were some light (dirty biggrin ) moments, but after the ending chapter I reduced it to 6. Really, what the h*** was that? Totally unecessary scene with Udou's brother full of cliches? Yuck! Thanks no.

Definitely not for non romantic lovers who are not seeking for anything but sweet nothings. And, which I found the worst, there is no deep meaning neither advice of any kind.

Cute and lewd xD

I really enjoyed this. The art style is pretty and I like the personalities of the two main characters. They mix the traditional cliched characters enough that these guys are fun and interesting. You've got to wonder who is really the lewd one between them... I've got to admit, the characters turned out to be quite different than what they seemed to be at first on the surface. Only thing I would have liked better is if there was more of this story! Recommended (unless you hate characters who sleep around - if so, why are you bothering to read the reviews to this?). It felt refreshing.

This makes me so upset because I'm not sure if I like it or hate it. I mean.. the characters are lovable and the story is cute. The way they interract is interesting and their love that develops is precious! But then there are the stupid yaoi-clichés that just irritate the fuck out of me. I like it but the clichés distract me but in the end I still enjoy it.

Ogawa Chise really outdid herself in this manga. In contrast to the usual yaoi manga where two guys meet each other due to certain circumstances and suddenly fall in love with the usual dose of sex, sex and sex, this yaoi manga is surprisingly different.
Each character has a unique side to themselves which makes this story so romantic, and the desire they have for each other is so overwhelming. The author has made sure that everything is carefully laid out in the three chapters with two extras, and one can't help but fall in love with the characters even though they can have their own flaws. They're just to loveable which made the manga shine even more.
A must read for yaoi fans.

Satisfying

Rating: 9.0  / 10.0
This is the first completed manga I read from the sensei that I found every story satisfying from the main story to the two short shounen-ai stories. I enjoyed all of them so I'm giving this whole volume a 9/10.

Edit: Loved the cover art, hair styles, colors and that shoes design of this manga.

Amazing story with your typical yaoi plot. I love the couple dynamic and I'm so glad they had their happy ending. Ogawa-sensei knows how to make the readers interested in the story no matter what kind of story she draws. Of course this is recommended.

Last Summer Blues!!

I don't think I am a maiden at heart but I really love these type of innocent love relationships. Uwaahh, I really do like it, sue me (lol don't, I am poor).
The art is as always beautiful and nicely done. To me it is.
The narration, pacing and paneling (of all the stories) is also very tastefully done. Nothing feels rushed.
Though, why must Chise-sensei resort to rapey lines and scenes? Still, I have to give it to her; even with that she somehow is able to infuse fluffiness and ardent passion into those scenes that I just can't think of them like that.
Ah, I really do love baseball stories.
While I didn't like the third story that much it was still soft and funny to read for me because a lot of people in my family wear glasses and some of my close friends as well, so it's not like without glasses you can't see well enough to find your way, and if you are the meticulous type then you always keep an extra pair with you.

ugh...I didn't get this

I didn't get this manga at all. Characters are acting absurdly and stories got weird developments....if any.
The first story got quite promising start..but then suddenly there's some weird skip in story (well it's not exactly skip..but it feels like one)..and from that point on lot of things were really strange. Don't even mentioning huge lack of proper feelings-development.
Second story... I really didn't get the end of this story.
And third story... I didn't get this one from the very beginning to the very end. Plus the glasses problem...like seriously? There were lot of nonsenses around that issue.
