Too much mediocre

Even in shoujo. I hated this kind of plot ever since I was still in the shoujo world. I don't like how a person is nice to everyone else and is mean to the person s/he likes. Isn't that concept, idk stupid? Bc if anything, you would want to be gentle to the person you love. Sometimes, special treatment isn't all that good. I'd rsther have a "asshole to the world, gentle to your love" than the other way around (tho it is a bit disadvantageous).

And don't give me the excuse of "he is an asshole to you bc he can be himself whenever he's with you" kind of crap. There's a limit to what an asshole-self one can be.

(2 bc of the art; it's good)
update: 3 bc the oneshot is so good i swear!!!!! I wish i could give separate ratings dammit!!

It was ok

I have to say that I did somewhat enjoy this manga. While the plot was rushed the art was very well drawn.

There are a lot of cliches and didn't match the story line very well. I also felt that Kondou fell in love way to quickly and didn't assess the situation as seriously as he should have. Then there's Takagi. He took advantage of Kondou and acted like they were in a relationship after he had sex with him. There was no confrontation from Kondou that he would go out with him what so ever. That was very strange and not to mention creepy. Then we have the confusing part where he is always insulting Kondou and his work. What's the point? I know he's an s but other than that what was the point? I was hoping that he did it because he felt that Kondou had a lot of potential. But sadly I was dissapointed. Another situation that was practically ignored was when Takagi didn't tell Kondou that he was going on a business trip with a woman who had confessed her feelings to him before. Kondou felt hurt yet Takagi didn't seem to care that much. He just basically told him that he worked as quickly as he could to get back to him. There was no apology or any serious talk otherwise. There wasn't much character development so we never really got to know or understand the characters other than what they show on the outside.

The art was very nice. Especially for their first manga. I found it to be quite hilarious at some points and also cute. I love the whole Senpai and Kohai thing. I do in fact love the seme rivalry for the uke cliche. It was interesting how Takagi knew the Kondou's Kohai had a thing for him. Usually in these situations the "rival" is just very friendly or overly affectionate.

I like the comedy; the drama and romance not so much

This manga screams that 'rookie' vibe that a lot of BL mangakas have in their earliest works: stereotyped cookie-cutter characters, typical plot, shallow conflict antics, simple and clichéd development; and it turned out this really was the author's first ever serialised manga. By now you can probably tell it did not impress me, particularly in the romance department. The beginning of the main characters' relationship is already very problematic - in real life there's no way one can get away with having so dubious a consent to engage in sexual activities with an intoxicated person like that, but since it's BL I guess it's not very practical to complain about every single illogical occurrence after all. However, the comedy on the other hand is actually quite to my liking so at least I have something to give credits to the mangaka for. The artwork is also not too shabby, it's clean but not too boring. Here's to hoping for improvement in sensei's future works.

Suits my taste

Haha, I think I just came to a revelation- I'm not one of those people who bash anything cliche or overdone... I'm one of those people who can actually enjoy things that are cliche or overdone as long as they're executed well. As in, not blatantly terrible, with characters that are somewhat likable. And as long as they have good art.

This basically fits those criteria! It's not boring or anything; rather, it's light and entertaining, with likable characters, although with an overdone scenario- gah, I (accidentally) slept with this guy I really dislike while I was super drunk! If this was meant to be serious, I would definitely not be into it- but it's a comedy, so... go right ahead, I guess!

Overall just a cute, typical plot with nice art and a good dollop of humor to go along. If you're looking for something groundbreaking, look elsewhere; if you're just looking to be entertained, this is a pretty good choice!

I guess it was ok, although I don't really feel the love between them. It's kinda blah, maybe because Takagi's point of view is non existent and as a whole it seems more like a one sided love on Kondou's part. There's just something missing that makes the characters seem detached.

This is typical, but I love the art, and the story is funny. There are thousand manga have these cliche plots but not many of them can do it good so I'm glad I've found this one. The characters lack some developments but it's not that bad. And the art is definitely my type. I won't rate it 9 if it's not for this refreshing art~

Oh, wait... i'm not surprised after all. I already think that this manga will quite suitable to my taste, so i read it after found this. And i could say this manga is really ridiculous yet cute! Okay, this one is indeed very common, but i guess it's fine. And of course it's fine because i like it. Better than i find something ridiculous and horrible, right?!
This one is fine. And i think even someone who like shoujo and never try to read a Yaoi manga, this one is acceptable. As long as the story not that rush, it's good!

I guess i will give this one 10 for the nice art and fine story.

Meh...

I don't mind the abuse that @foulodron mentioned - I rather like it, when it's well done. But I disagree with the other reviewers too. This is a very common manga. Cliché, not the least bit innovative and kinda drags on forever. The whole Hirano thing was totally unnecessary. The author said it was supposed to be a one-shot - and it should've been, since there was no more story - but even as such it would still be so-so. The first chapter solved it all and even that one was too quick, pace-wise, the "I got drunk and we had sex so I love you" type of manga. The following chapters had a plot of their own, which made it seem like the story didn't have any connection as a whole at parts, but still, they were weak individual plots.
Also, it had way too much pointless sex.

The upside is that the seme's personality is really my type, though Takagi wasn't very well-developed. Kondou, on the other hand, was a little too whiny for me and cried a lot, too.

This even made me tired of it and I went to do something else. You guys realize how bad this is for a manga, that's supposed to make you unable to stop, right?

Basically, the only particularly good point was without a doubt the art. Very beautiful, refreshing and full of bishounen *--*

Nice art, Typical plot

So this story is about the seme bullying the one he likes. Very typical.
The art is really nice and the plot is quite interesting and somehow I kinda like Hirano at the end of the story. It's pretty funny he and Kondou managed to get on so called "good terms". They're like cats and dogs. As for Takagi, he's pretty cool and stoic but somehow in the middle of the story, his expressions and actions loosens up. But still, this is a nice manga to read.

Rushed Plot

I just read the first chapter and i felt i had to say this... it's a super rushed plot and it's kind of annoying.
when Kondou figured out he had sex with Takagi he immediately fell in love with him which is weird because Takagi wasn't even nice to him for a split second so what exactly made him fall in love with him?? i didn't even understand. and it felt weird that he accepted his love towards Tagagi so fast and easily i mean he just slept with a GUY shouldn't he feel like it's weird?? or at least take a while to let it sink in and accept it and not a day after.
i felt like the sex scene was fast forward too.
even there work is unknown. usually the author does research and use the data he finds to put in the story so that people can understand it better and connect with the story better, but the only thing i got from what they are doing is that Takagi is a manager of some company and Kondou writes reports on god knows what.
the only thing i liked was the art... and im not even sure i want to keep reading it.
