It really was a lovely story, the way the story ended was just chilling. I absolutely recommend "Fruits Basket" as a must read! Although in my point of view some of the events did not go the way that I wish they had (the matching's of the people) it just made me terribly sad!! "Fruits Basket" has stuck with me for as long as I can remember I really do hope that other's enjoy it just as much as I did. >>>>>>>>If not more.....

it's such a heartwarming story, with romance, fantasy, deep characters, interesting plot, so many twists and turns. . . you really get to feel sympathy for all of the characters, really. you should DEFINITELY read this. i have to admit, the artwork got worse later on in the series, but the emotions got deeper. . . but some of it's light-hearted too, so have fun reading it!!

I used to love this manga... It was the first one I ever read... But now that I look back at it I find it really boring... The pictures aren't the greatest, but I do like the story... Though the whole emotional journey that each of the characters go on is really boring and depressing... and towards the endo of the series it startes to get very depressing. But volume 15 has to be the best one in the series! And the first few books are really good.

I was genuinely surprised by this series. I was rather put off by the title at first but the dynamics and character play was really brilliant, while romance does play a big part, it also touches on loss and family issues at many levels. It is definitely a good read. The anime differs slightly from the manga but worth a watch as well.

The story at first sounded odd but once I started reading like the first volume, I couldn't stop. Again, the characters are all so different and so lovable. Each one has so much depth to them and they are so strong. Sure, some chapters were not needed but to me, the more fruits basket the better. The ending was sweet, it made me cry. Actually a lot of scenes in this series made me cry so get your tissues ready. If only there was a score higher than 10, I would give it that.

One of my first ever shoujo mangas and I never regretted reading it. I started out by watching the anime but dissatisfied with the ending, I was so delighted when I found out they actually have a manga for it so I downloaded without any hesitation.

A good manga with humor, drama and slice of life element in it. It has everything you are looking for in a shoujo manga. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry. It makes you think and it makes you realize. The only downside is that the art is a little too plain that sometimes I mixed up some of the characters. But it has its own simplistic and beautiful art too. Anyway it's just a minor thing and I still think it is really a must read for all! ^_^

I love it so much, definitly on my top ten.
So cute, well drawn(as it progresses), the characters are exellant and the story is so interesting.
I was so sad when I read trough the last chapter(whitch by the way is great) "sob".

I first read this manga, when I borrowed the first...three volumes from a member of my club. I was hooked on it from then afterwards, and started reading other manga because of it. very good starter series if you have friends you want to get involved in manga.

*JUST finished reading* ok, this IS my favorite manga, kinda sayin somethin for all the manga i have read so far. this is sooooo adorable, i MUST buy the series now ^^ the cutest and funiest, yet so serious and gives you every emotion in one series, it's impossible to not fall in love with this series. makes me wish they would have continoued the anime, that also needs to be collected after the manga. anywho, I highly reccemend this manga, HIGHLY! ^*^ ^_^

this is my most favorite manga of all time!! it pretty much has the perfect ending.. but it wouldve been better if they made the ending a little bit longer (but to tell you the truth, the last chapter made me tear up a lot)... plus this is way better than the anime series... i highly recommend this
