May be witchcraft or something...

This manga is almost scary. It is about a salesman and a wolf diety who travel around and sell wares together. The story does not sound interesting in the least (well, to me). But, for some reason, I cannot stop reading it. I have been late to classes because a new chapter came out. I do not know what the pull of this manga is...I am not interested in wolf girls nor medieval business practices. But, I do not seem to be the only one oddly attracted to this story.

In a nutshell, this is one amazing story with unexpected focus for a story of its kind. Never seen the anime yet, but the closest thing come to mind about this manga is the anime "Kino No Tabi".
Too bad, the manga isn't as far as the anime or novel yet. I'm waiting very anxiously for the next chapter.

Never have I been drawn into a manga so quickly. After the first two chapters I was totally hooked. Horo is just the right combination of vivacious, serious and cute. Lawrence is just the perfect character to balance her out too. His calmness and sensitivity managing to throw Horo off guard and show every facet of her character. With a little bit of basic economics and religious fanaticism thrown into their world, the product is a manga which deserves nothing less than the highest praise.

Seriously, if you haven't already, read this NOW.

I watched the anime and it's equally good, maybe even better. For the cool animation and the quality of the picture along with the nice voice acting.
Just sit back, and enjoy.

I've only read two chapters but it looks promising enough. The setting, atmosphere, and premise remind me somewhat of Mushishi and Kino no Tabi so I'm looking forward to the rest of the series to see how it progresses.
