There's nothing I can say that will capture the beauty in this manga. It made me the closest I had ever been to crying while reading.. And I know I'll always remember it, in a small corner in my heart.

I'm not big on slice-of-life dramas, but this was a powerful story and a must read for any pet owner. Despite having some tragic moments, this manga is really endearing and will probably leave you smiling at the end. It's very realistic and very well done.

Really made me cry. Cause my Lab looked the same hooked up to the machines when it died.

Gave it a 7 though, cause I don't like reading things that are soo sad. And parts of the story feel a bit rushed, and the love story between the guy and the girl at the end seemed very out of the blue and I didn't know why it was included since it was set up as a story about a girl and a dog.

Ahhh... this story is probably the first story I read by this author. It's amazing! I admit that the art style is not perfect at the beginning, but you can see what improvements it had throughout it's time. Anyways, about the story~ It's soo sadddd!!! TT__TT The first chapter brought me to tears, yet in the end, I was smiling and in tears. The second chapter was more pain, then tears, and then smiles.... but the last one just plan brought me to tears. Hard-hard tears. I couldn't see the monitor after I finished it all. Yes, that wonderful. really love this manga. (and basically all the stories I read by this author!) Ah, and not to mention that the story line is not commonly used at all. I mean, firstly it's about dogs...well, a seeing eye dog! It's just not your usual manga. =)

This was the first manga that truly made me cry. I love how this story didn't have bishounens and didn't have a cliched plot. It was touching and could very well be a true story. Loved it!

Its so short... and it manages to make me cry really bad. o.o; Very touching, as touching as a story about the love between a girl and her dog could ever be (without beastiality... >>;). I suggest everyone into sentimental works read this.

This series is so beautiful. I cried like mad, since I also had a dog and it was really similiar like in this manga - the same behaviour, when she gets sick. Miyauchi Saya is really genius.

I was really sceptic about this one,and boy did I regret not having read this earlier...cried like mad too..

i teared up, and i don't even have any pets
