I find this a very disturbing series... i felt sympathetic for the characters. And just as I was wondering could this even happened... I found this piece of news http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7182817.stm So... things like this could happened in real life...it is so sad that I don't even know what to say. So I thank the Mangaka for writing this series... it helps me to understand, how these people feel. and I hope they will move on in their lives and feel at ease with comfort.
This is a good manga, revolving the bittersweet agony of longing for your lover.

Synopsis It is a very romantic story about love, but it is forbidden to them as they are siblings. They were everyday people with the logical train of thought that incest is unacceptable, until fate played them a trick and cheated them into falling in love. We read about how they try to reason their feelings for each other, but keeping in mind that the family bond was a new discovery, their heart and mind could not fully understand that they must not be together. But in these situations love burns you whether you do or whether you do not.
Criticism If it was not for the corny, exaggerated, soap opera melodrama, it would have scored a 9.
Kasumi's intensity is hard to follow emotionally when reading the manga. After a bittersweet ache is sown in your chest, she just keeps on going, pushing it further until it seems like a parody of a soap. I always end up laughing and I can't take it seriously. I wonder if the mangaka wanted it to be a manga version of "Scary Movie", "Epic Movie" etc., because to me it's a comic twist.
OVERALL I love the romance, a lot of drame/plot (at times it is nauseatingly soapy), we understand the characters and the drawing is an 8+.

I am NOT against incest, since i believe love comes in many form and should not be labeled.
Pro: Mature art style. Deep love. Drama. Slice of life. Good plotline.
Con: Too soap opera. Killed me so many times withe the drama. Not yet complete scanlate. 80% this manga will never make it to the licensed world since many are against incest (Through many accepts yaoi and hentai since whatever-reason). For angst lovers more than shoujo/happy-ending lovers (Me).
Extra Note: Waiting to see all 18 volumes scanlated.
Rate: I'm a picky person (especially when it comes to manga), so a 6/10 for me. 6/10 may not seem much but coming from me really means it's a worth reading!! (Death Note being 7/10, PoT 7/10, Love Monster 7.5/10, Vampire Knight 8/10, One Piece 9/10, Hikaru no go 10/10).
though i did somewhat like this manga, the main character Kasumi is always freaking crying which annoys the heck out of me... its a never ending soap. The artwork is okay, its nothing really special at all. If you just want to pass time because you have nothing else better to do then read this
if you like incest (bro/sis), smut, soap opera, or all of the above you will like this one. 8/10 for me. i deducted 2 because i have watched too many daytime soap operas already i don't need another one on my list. smut is so-so.
I like incest themes, they make a exicting romance, being a taboo. but this one seems to have a problem, the main heroine is really a whore....yup i just get that idea everytime she does something whore like. don't get me wrong! i have nothing against mature mangas, in fact i prefer them.
very heartwrenching manga, but one that I couldn't help but become addicted to. it's definately worth reading!. My only complaint about it is it's only been scanlated to volume 8!
