Description
What is a sweet, soft-spoken girl (Ha Li Kang) to do when her brothers, having just learned fencing and martial arts, decide to test some moves out on her in order to "tame her" and make her into their "little slave?" She runs to her knightly friend (Te Hu Kang, not related to Ha Li) for protection, of course. However, what happens when, instead of comforting her, he tells her that she is a coward for running away like a puppy who needs constant protection? No, she does not break down and cry like a weak girl. Instead, she resolves to grow stronger. With rigorous training everyday, Ha Li goes from being a scared girl who cries for help to becoming the Jjang (boss of a gang) of the Doberman gang. However, events lead to Ha Li getting in an accident with a truck. Afterwards, she is reborn into the body of a beautiful, but weak, rich girl Aram Han.

At her new school, everyone is surprised at the sudden change they see in Aram, who has gone from a gloomy, good student to a rude, carefree troublemaker. Many people bully her. When Ha Li finds out that it is all due to Sin Uoo Park, the handsome prince and Jjang of the school who detests Aram, she decides to have a duel with him for the position of Jjang. What will happen next is for you to find out in this romantic comedy Korean manhwa.

Deteriorates....

I really enjoyed this manga for a while, or at least, for some parts. For the first like, 10 volumes, despite there being a lot of overly violent, disturbing parts, it was funny, and I really liked Ha Ji (she was strong, dense, and her reactions were funny, and I thought she was a good person). But then.... it just got really, really bad after the half-way mark. If the author just ended it at volume 10-11, it would have been passable. People had said this was good, since Ha Ji was a kick-ass heroine, but seriously, I really, really hated her near the end. I actually skipped reading all the volumes until the very end, and I still understood what was going on. Which may have been a really suckish thing, actually, because, to say the least, I was disappointed amazingly by the (frankly) awful ending. The only reason this gets a 5 and not a 1 is because it made me laugh and was interesting in the beginning.

Over Rated

So I started reading this story based on the high rating it got. I expected this to be epically mind blowingly amazing but instead it was lukewarm. I honestly don't see why people leave rave reviews about this story. The characters are so-so (with the exception of Sin) and the story itself feels dragged out. The main character is endearing and charming at first but then grows to be annoying as the story progresses. Personally, I found the fact that she was so quick to forgive and trust her best friend who repeatedly abused her to be insanely annoying.
As far as the comedic aspect of the story goes, the jokes were repetitive although this did help to keep the story light. As I said before, the story got dragged out after the first 12 volumes, kind of like a daytime soap opera. My recommendation would be to read the first 12-15 volumes then skip right to the end. You're not really missing anything.

UGH!!

The comedy is good for about 5-6 volumes. I cried laughing at the hotel scene where she is swinging around furniture and the guy is thinking, "S&M?!" However, it got worse and worse to the point that I really don't like this series. It gets a "3" because the early comedy raised its score a bit.

Sort-of spoiler:
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Once she switched back bodies, it was like a whole new story over again. That was really irritating and repetitive.

The climax is the worst scene ever. You spend the whole series thinking Ha Ji is an essentially good person but then...
Spoiler (highlight to view)
... she loses her trust in her best friend by not believing that he was a good person to the end. When she loses her trust, she chooses to try and save her own life by pulling the trigger on a gun which is presumably aimed at her boyfriend. Of course, if she had trusted her friend then she would have realized that he never would have done that to her.

Then you see everyone with (mostly) happy endings later on and you're like, WTF?

Hilarious manhwa, but very violent at some points

Extremly amusing manga with a total dense female lead. Hilarious twists, but a rushed ending. Depressing and really shockingly violent at some points, so if you have a problem with teenage practically killing each other and then being best friends again...stay away from this.

Still, it's funny most of the time and kind of cute ^^

OMG, why are u people throwing all of this angry and dissapointed comments at tis masterpiece?? (T__T) I absolutely loved the story; as a matter of fact, this is the 4th time i read it... You know, I just couldn't dislike HaJi... Everybody (meaning the readers) seem to be fed up with her stupidity, but I just couldn't hate it. I think she's an awesomely designed character, and I (even though i really HATED him at the beginning) totally ended up loving SinUoo. It's so beautiful to see how those two souls are just perfect for each other ^___^
Well, anyway, I've always been a person who --because I am a mangaka myself-- can't stand bad drawings, but this one, for some weird reason, just dragged me into addiction. I think that Hot Blooded Woman is the best manga/manwha I've EVER read (and i've read a LOOOT of 'em...)
The only thing that kind of dissapointed me was that lonely ending that Hwang Mi Ri gave to Han Seo... I really liked him, so it would've been better if he finally found love or something... Such a psychotic and twisted guy... An actor confused You gotta be kidding me xD
Anyway, it was fun to watch though... I liked the story so much that I just overlooked all the flaws. I think it really got me ^__^

my hopes died down...but the beginning was good.

i really dont know how i should rate this. if i'm talking about the first 11 volumes or so i'll definitely give it a 10/10! it was so great because i really liked the personality of ha ji when she was in aram's body, and the guardian angel / bringer of death / moya was always giving hilarious comments of people in their true hearts. i also really like how the theme of destiny and fate was lingering here and there, it really connected the plot.
but when aram's body died and ha ji had to return to her original body, she lost all those memories and i felt bad for sin uoo, but then again he was like taming her because of han seo, and it all started to go all wrong. it just didn't feel right. but it felt even more weird since ha ji never gained her memories back...felt really awkward.
i think that was a bad twist in the story, it would have been probably been one of the best series i've read if it just stopped at 11th volume and everything was happily ever after. i guess the story just died out rapidly (i'm like simulating a graph here lol) after aram's death. the manga was better when the actual aram's soul wasn't there, i'm making aram a simile to a black hole in the manga hahaha.
so 10/10 for the first 11 volumes about about 2/10 for the rest of it? i'm giving this a 8/10 because i am a relatively optimistic person smile
since this manga was so good, i'm going to read this manga again now. (the first volumes only of course...lol.)

Too long

This manga was really exciting and amusing and I was enjoying it loads but as I got to about the 11th volume it started to get a bit tedious and the story went in a direction I didn't really like.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
The characters who had switched bodies switched back again and I realised that since there was about another 11 volumes left I would have to read through 11 more volumes of new founded misunderstandings, there's only so much of it I can take. It took long enough for the main character to form a relationship with a guy before she was sent back to her original body and we were back to square one. Very annoying.

Because of the reasons in the spoiler I regretted reading this manga which is sad because it started off so good.

i read the first 8 volumes then i couldn't stand it anymore and jumped to the end. NO MORE! IT SUCKS. The artist only could draw the guys good and one of the girls, then her drawing of the others just sucked. The only good art is the cover.
