Me Likely

This was really good. I've been putting it off for a while because I thought that it would be boring, but it exceeded my expectations. Thankfully. It was different than I thought it would be, but not a bad different. I didn't mind the art like some people did. it was geared towards a more mature audience so it completely fit for me. I did like the story. I thought it was a good change of pace and as I and everyone has said, it was for a more mature audience. Oh and the ending. Seriously. More word!! lol

Satisfying.

I liked this. It had a melancholy feel but it ended on an upbeat note. Ambiguous I guess, but positive enough that I can be confident in a happy ever after. That's something I normally hate about harem stuff or love polygons, even when they end with it completely unfinished it's always understood that the protagonist will eventually have to pick one of the girls leaving the rest broken hearted. Happy ending for one, sad for however many extras there are. If I want to be depressed by a story all I have to do is look at the story of real life. Reading fiction is about happy endings to me, and this series delivered imho, without handing it over on a platter. I would have preferred a explicit happy ending, but what we got was fine too.

This one should have "must be a mature adult to read it" on the book.

This is a story of three adults who are all psychologically "broken", finding that other two fill their own shortcomings in some way. If you want a light, predictable romance or smut, or just general romantic stuff, this is the wrong choice. If you want something with significant amount of adult themes (in terms of psychology), this is a great choice.

The downside is, if you're not a grown up, you'll likely not understand what you're missing. This manga more or less requires a certain understanding and experience in life to truly enjoy.

In search of oneself
by Cedante90

Like the title of my comment suggests, I see this Manga, regarding the characters, as a story to find oneself. Searching about the feeling within oneself and their place within life, within society and within the heart of those you love. Well the Manga itself starts like a grey wall where the author slowly and carfuly colors it, with some dark and some bright colors, without following a spesific parameter but creating an intense feeling of passion, dispair, love and self-reflection. But enough of this metaphorical chitchat - This manga is unique & deep and I love it for it's unusual plot (not a harem in common matter of sence) having an unique protagonists with their own relationships toward each other. I rly appreciate authors making this kind of seinen romance stories as they are on a whole different level from the standart shoenen ones or the ones only relaying on the nudity part without having any deeper meaning to it. This story will mix you up an let it appear questionable and strange at times but always intense and beautiful.

I recomend this manga to everyone in search of an unique romance story.

Ps: I strongly recommend to read the prequel 'Baby leaf' as it will clear some of the facts of the main stroy afterwards, and yes, it is a great short-story itself.

Gloomy Romance

I don't usually read seinen romance but this manga is what I think of when I think of seinen romance. It's gloomy, filled with grim reality and painful smiles. I don't know, maybe I haven't experienced enough of this stuff to relate but the story at times seems gloomy just to be gloomy. Still, it's a unique experience that I won't be forgetting so it deserves some praise.

did I just read?? Not only was the whole manga a random mish mash of what the author could have thought of at the spur of the moment, the ending is downright pathetic.

It's horribly open and nothing is resolved. Don't expect any closure.

Well, don't get me wrong, I think that this manga is great. Unfortunately, I really didn't like the way it was going, I read baby leaf and was extremely fond of Youko's character; but when I read deeper into honeymoon salad I was disappointed. Youko didn't seem the same quiet, deep in thought, melancholy, girl that I knew. I think that if I hadn't read Baby Leaf I would have enjoyed the direction this manga took, although the love struggle is of a different type then it was in baby leaf. Another problem is what providence had said, I'm not mature enough to understand the emotional attachments developed through sexual intercourse. Due to these reasons I would say that it is assuredly a great manga, just not to my liking. I will definitely continue reading for the small chance and hope that in the end he will end up with Youko...

Since I've read the prequel (Baby Leaf) beforehand, I quickly got accustomed to the characters and I just felt that things got wacky when two girls from different background get together. The character development is a bit limited to earlier volumes, but after the build up, the clashes come out one after another, the reader is always provided with things to ponder about. Although the personality of characters might somewhat be outrageous, the interaction is very well thought out and manages to create a suspension of disbelief.

The inclusion of sex limits the audience to mature readers, which I think is done on purpose, as young people probably wouldn't understand the thick romance plot.

It's alot like Dance til Tomorrow, but with much better art. I found the characters very interesting. They're all broken in some way and help each other repair themselves.
