Description
Katsuragi Keima is known on the net as the god of getting the girls while in real life he’s known as otamegane and he hates all real girls. However he is approached by Elsie, a devil from hell, to help her in catching runaway spirits that hide in people. Apparently the spirits only hide in the hearts of girls and the only way to get the souls out is by making the girl fall in love so the spirit gets forced out. And he’s not allowed to fail or he will lose his head.

The concept is simply brilliant, and so far the plot isn't deteriorating.
Keima is the "god of conquest": he's a master at playing galgames. To save his life, he now has to cooperate with Elsee to catch runaway spirits.. by filling the emptiness in girls' hearts by making them fall in love with him. So basically, he now captures "3D girls". It's an awesome manga, highly recommended. You can watch the anime first, but the manga goes a little more in-depth, so it's definitely worth rereading those chapters if you have the time.

Edit: volume 12 and 13 are absolutely awesome. They are thrilling, keep you at edge; and there's so much hilarious and genious stuff happening. I really hope the series will continue at this pace and quality.

I can't believe I haven't commented on this series yet, it is one of my all-time favorite manga. Every time I read another shounen romance manga, I only end up thinking "why can't this be more like TWGOK?" It is a series that subverts all other shounen romance tropes and then plays them straight to show them how it's done. Not to the mention the main character is freaking awesome. Anyways, if I had to decide on a flaw of this series, it might be how convoluted the main plot becomes. Part of me would be ok with just having a new girl to conquer every once in a while but part of me is glad that this series actually has an overarching plot.

I think this is the best Harem ever in this year for me (because I don't like harem that's too many ecchi, serious) this manga is funny and the girls keep increase more and more (not like other harem series). And if it have a flaws for me it is the an anime, because it only have 13 episode.

edit: well, kami nomi have received green- lit for second season. the season is on April next year. yippi

I like this manga alot. The storyline is fresh, and its very intresting to see Keima, a dating-sim manic with under average looks make girls fall for him. Well, i think in the later chapters hes gonna stop playing those games and let his mission become his game.

Oh my god, this is the best manga ever!!
I like the main character, Keima! He is an interesting and funny guy! so far, i've never found a guy who likes game characters more then real ones xD
Elsee is just too cute! she is clumsy and very very cute!
I also like almost all the other characters!

I like plot! only a genius like Wakaki Tamiki can make mangas like this!
Anyway, there is no word to describe how much awesome this manga is!

I give it a 10/10! Highly recommended!!!
Also, am i the only one who gets jealous when Keima kisses the girls? xD I cant sleep at night because of that!!!

This is the rare kind of shonen that u can't just find anymore. The main character... what can i say hes freaking awesome, and i love how they do the strong yet made fun of main character (intelligence wise). I want to see a plot twist. I could seriously see this as an anime it would be amazing.

It's exacly how I like a manga:
The story is light-hearted with comedy, romance and light challenges.
The main character takes some time to get used to, but now I like his strange attitude to reality really much.
And the girls are not only cute, they are also presented with emotional deeps, which you don't see in most mangas.

To make it short: I love this manga.

I'lll hope he gets all flags for his RL-harem-ending!

when i saw the title it didn't even gave me a slight interest~ but when i had a glimpse on the description it made me curious about it~ after reading chapter 1 it was quite interesting its somehow kinda different~ gonna be keeping watch on this series~

In an age where genre, perimse and sucess formulas define anime.TWGOK shows that originality could still exist.
TWGOK may have the elements of a romantic comedy,you are supposed to laugh a lot but as a whole it takes itself seriously.I don't mean it in the superfical violence and pretentiosness,its more of how Great Teacher Onizuka does this.Lets start with the conquests,Unlike other romatic comedies the girls aren't there for the sake of getting them.you'd realise each girl is idealistic and we see how they genuinely struggle against reality.Keima's basically gives them the courage to face it.We see the girls graually come to tems with this on their own through Keima.The girls for once felt like characters that can stand on their own merits as oposed to just making the main look good.Hence the original conept only this manga has "Our Ideals Versus Reality."

I 'm not a big fan of romatic comedies due to contrived romaces and Drama.but in Twgok
it actually is very reasonable cause the main character puts in the EFFORT and is not depenadant on dating sim logic only to succeded.

The story is not really about otakuism but of a coming of age story.The main chararcter may be an otaku,but its not about his fear but his hate or dislike.As the series progress we are reminded of how Human he really is.Which bring me to its villans.

They aren't shonen Jump DBZ villans thats for sure.You acually get to see an analogy of politics and even corruption.Their motivations are in line with their actions.They aren't sympathetic villans,
but you understand where their coming form.Logic ,reason,courage and determination are acually genuine here for the Protagonists,No unreasonable convient miracle power up here .Its awesome to see a mere human stand up aganist them using just down to earth tatics.

Ps .the Heart of Jupiter Arc is not even over yet.,season 3 is being made so ther chapters aren't released as fast.TWGOK isn't just about the romance.

The only problem is that if you looking for a typical romatic comedy you might not like it.

It takes a very long time for the harem to form 190+.Lack of fanservice.Plot and themes of TWGOK hold just as much weight as the characters,They are not just a means to an end.
