I've read the manga and it has been quite enjoyable. The anime is a little boring though so I've only watched three episodes. The story is a bit confusing but entertaining and I really like the main character. He knows how to control people. But I would really like to know who his teacher really is!
I can't wait to find out the ending of this story.

I liked this series at the beginning but lost interest later. The manga has a promising setting, similar to a modern day naruto, and a unique main character who's calm and indifferent.

However, the story leaves out too much information so it's hard to really understand or care about the characters and events. Even after several volumes, the characters feel like strangers.

This manga simply does not have the interest factor to it. It fails to capture the readers' interest from the very beginning, and that is a crucial mistake.

The introduction to the world of ninjas is much too short, and does not give the story a proper buildup. The main character, although unique, is not believable, and thus isn't very interesting.

A good shounen manga is one that has worlds inside of worlds. So there is always something bigger out there, that kind of feeling. But Nabari no Ou's introduction fails to convey this kind of feeling and thus, it simply could not captivate my interest for very long.

its a good series can be addicting but at times the main character can be annoying for me he was a little to weak. Well read this and decide for yourself if he's weak or not. =P

It`s a really good manga, lots of action, an interesting theme and nice art. Kinda resembles Naruto but it seems more realistic.
And the main character is super lovable ^^
A real pity that it`s being released in such a disordered manner.

I recommend it and am w8ing for more releases smile

It has a grippping ninja themed storyline. Altough i can see problems the author might face having the ninja theme in a modern world i hope he does a good job at it since the manga shows considerable potential.

What catched me though was the original main character a very rare feature for a shonen manga to have nowadays and something i've been looking for for some time now. This accompanied by good clear art makes this manga a very good read which without a doubt deserves more attention.

at the very least i hope some subbing group can pick up the anime so i can enjoy this series

Not bad at all. But if you think this is anything but an alternate world you're either unaware of the proper use of the term, or crazy. In a bad way. There are some good themes, the main character is very likable, and funny. If you wanted to, you could draw some similarities between this and Naruto (if you really wanted to), the protagonist is special because he has some supreme power sealed inside of him, and it begs him to let it out now and again. Not really sure where the series is going at this point, but it's worth a look.

This is good but I have no idea what made them think scanlating volume 6 before the rest was a smart choice...I read their reason but then if that was the case why not do volume 3...well its all in their spare time so I can't complain, Im glad someone is doing it atleast as this is a pretty interesting story...Hope V2 gets scanned soon..Im looking forward to it...

No way. The first chapter was enough to hook me. I already know I am going to really like this series. Keep it up scanlators, I am following this one to the end!

There isn't enough of this scanslated for me to be able to leave one of my huge, whopping reviews... But the few chapters that are available are certainly intriguing. I really like the main character, and his determination not to be a hero. I mean, in most stories, the high school kid either rejoices when he discovers that he has superpowers, or he angsts endlessly over his destiny. In this case, the protagonist does neither. He's too laidback and too disconnected to really give a damn. I find that quite cute. biggrin

Others have pointed out that this manga has shounen ai undercurrents, and I'm inclined to agree with them. It's nothing obvious, but it's there. You don't have to notice it if you don't want to. (I do, though!)

Sensei is great. I'm really looking forward to finding out more about him as the story progresses. Maybe he can stalk the hero some more, and teach him how to be a real ninja at last...
