Misaki is perhaps the most innocent and most sincere young lady there ever was. Itís almost inconceivable that she could be a vampire. With her powers as a vampire, she could easily entice any human to do her bidding but she chooses not to. Especially when it comes to Kuroe, a young author who has a deep running past with vampires, and the man she is in love with.
Note: Adapted from a set of Doujinshi by the same mangaka.

Pls notice that manga doesn't even have Action genre
That's it. This is a vampire manga but doesn't focus on fighting, blood lust, violence, darkness...
It's a warm and innocent (loli) romance manga. If you want to find lighthearted romance slice of life series with an odd theme (vampire in that case) this what you are looking for. Anyway, I agree that this manga is more suitable for seinen reader than shounen.

Fast pace and engaging!
I don't understand why people say there is no action in this because there is! It is what adds to the story and how each character becomes the way they are. Actually I was quite surprised reading this after looking at the genre because I must say, Kuroe is more than what meets the eye. There is more history behind who each character are and Misaki is also somewhat a mystery for now.
Very warm and positive series. Sometimes it heads towards being dark and actiony, but those bits are surrounded slice of life stuff.
This isn't a romance story. She likes him, he treats her like a child. She is a (realistically depicted) child, and I don't see him going all paedophile on us. I was a bit worried it was going to end in ludicrous lolicon romance justified by 'she's a vampire and this is a manga so whatever', but fortunately it doesn't go there.
I really love this <3
The story is nice, the art always give me a pleasant and peaceful feeling even though there are murder scenes, Misaki's so pure and innocent <3 <3 <3
I think it's refreshing to see a more "soft" vampire. Must all vampires be sadistic killers? Not that I don't like sadistic killers, but it's really nice to see a cute vampire from time to time.
better than nothing
a good read.. very warm and neat.. Misaki is simply cute and adorable, u may never think that she's a vampire XD..
unless your looking for vampiric action, then ur better off reading Rosario+Vampire or others..
Not typical vampire angsty action manga
It may not be action filled like Claymore or Gantz and definitely not as dark as Goth , Petshop of Horrors, or even Vampire Knight. But it's definitely worth a read (unless you're looking for action, in which case, look for Naruto. Or looking for a story about vengeance, then read Old Boy. Or looking for a story about angst, then read Deep Love. Or looking for romance, then read Vampire Knight.)
Not all vampires need to be bloodlusting, some may even hate drawing blood. And in a way, this manga is a bit more realistic (slice of life) than a lot of the vampire mangas out there.
Solid story-telling, good characters, interesting plot--I'm glad someone picked this one up, as I'm not sure that Infinity Studios is still in existance and I was afraid I would never see the end.
What a refreshing series...
It's quite a drift from all those series about bloodthirsty vampires who're interested only in power, ambition, yadda yadda, etc.
Throw in pure hearted romance, a dash of drama, a drop of mystery and so forth and you got Blood Alone brewing.
Though... be warned that it is rather loli and has a bit of shounen-ai or possibly shotacon content(largely insinuated for now).

Ive alway like this kind of manga. in my opinion, this manga can give a kind of soft and sweet feeling but at the same time, it can also get kind of dark and mysterious, like some kind of secret is hidding behind each scene....lol totally in love with in
