From: Easy Going Scans:

Fate brings two people who live in the same condo together on a typical afternoon. Ozawa (26) has just broken up with her boyfriend of five years and was in the process of trying to rebuild her life when she meets Oyamada who lives a couple floors below her. He is somewhat of a loner although he does have a few friends and his room is cluttered with all the random stuff that his impulse shopper brother sends him. Ozawa takes an interest with all the things in his room and the two start a friendship that slowly turns into something more.

This manga is really pure, not innocent, but pure. Its sooo adorable and just goes with the flow. I love all the characters and their weirdness (especially the fact that we don't really know what the brother looks like. Lol.) Can't wait to finish it.

The story of the world's most adorable couple

Bonnouji is just so effortlessly cute. Usually, romance manga force feeds the reader love in a "I'M ADORABLE, GOSHDARNIT!" kind of way, but Bonnouji just lets two people live their lives, and the end result is ridiculously charming.
Bonnouji is realistic. It has great pacing and doesn't dillydally with forced, cliched conflict (for example, having an ex show up right after the main couple gets together). I also love the way the mangaka parallels Ozawa and Oyamada's relationship with the development of Oyamada's room, the eponymous bennouji. It's just a cool little metaphor, and the mangaka handles it really well, so I thoroughly appreciate it.
Overall, this is a great slice of life romance. Super adorable and funny. Great work.

Bonnouji is a great little romantic manga. It has a small cast of warm characters, actual progression with the relationship between our two main leads and a satisfying ending. Really, there's hardly anything that I would say is outright bad here. So why isn't it getting a 10/10? Well, while the story is adorable sometimes I found that there wasn't much keeping me invested. The two main leads get together fairly quickly, which I like, but then there's basically no drama for the rest of the story other than one or two minor points. I don't NEED drama to make a story work but there was times where I just got tired of these two just sorta living their daily lives.

This is still a great manga that falls into my personal preferred length of less than 50 chapters. I certainly recommend a read, there are times when the romance is just too precious.

I'm totally loving Oyamada!!!
He is such a kind, understanding and lovable boyfriend.
I love how he genuinely treasures Ozawa.
My favorite lines from Oyamada that made my heart skip a beat are

Ozawa: I have this feeling things will change if we get married...
I know it sounds stupid. We're at the right age, after all.

Oyamada: "If we get married, well I guess something will change."

Ozawa: Ah. Right.

Oyamada: "Your surname" >.<

Oyamada :" I don't intend to ever leave you so... well, I don't anything will change between us if we get married someday"

I postponed reading this for a long time because I read the 'career woman' tag. Well I am glad I did that so I could swoop all 13 chapters in one time. BUT IT"S STILL NOT ENOUGH!
This series is amazing... the characters are cute, they radiate warm feelings all over me (lol)
and what's more there's no ecchi, proving that even a straight healthy young man like me can enjoy a series without sex jokes.
anyway I don't want to halt you too long, just hit this Manga already
I give it a 8.5

this is one of the best drama free relationship manga ever. everything is so airy and light, im giggling throughout the chapters. there's nothing to it except sweet interactions, and great for anyone who want o unwind after a stressful day.

As other comment says, this is pretty nice manga with realistic and mature characters with also nice pace.

I'm worried about the future though, you could only do so much until you have to went the path of stupid over dramatized misunderstanding or some sort. Hope this would not gone that path, I'd rather have nice short manga than long train wreck.

For now, it's good.

Two things that makes it interesting.
The girl is already in her mid 20s.
You have no clue how old the guy is.

Makes you wonder how there relationship will devolop smile

Annnd... i am anticipating the MC has a girl that likes him biggrin

As of right now i can't rate it.

i normally like slice of life romance like this... but the two main characters didnt really have an affect on each other beyond what happened at the beginning. No chemistry i guess. No interesting or even cliche dialogue between them. Specifically there was no dialogue between them indicating what they might enjoy about each other. At least thats what it felt like to me.

Calling this manga 'boring' would be an overstatement. It's like the day to day, thoughts and feelings of the characters and how they progress. While the plot is just really simple and neat, it avoids cliches. Not exactly 'refreshing' though- just a change from the common shoujo we read.

I wasn't crazy over this manga, but it did have somewhat of a realistic touch, and I guess that's the part of it that I liked.
