Description
From VIZ:
Shy Ichitaka has a crush on his high-school classmate Iori, but ever since she posed for semi-provocative swimsuit photos in a magazine, she's had a lot of sleazy guys hitting on her. Ichitaka's afraid to make his feelings known for fear Iori will think he's just another creep.
I'm a judgy person when it comes to manga, and i'm also very picky about romance manga. I've read few romantic stories and every single one of them bothered me. This one still did, but at least it was different. Ichitaka is not your normal male lead, he actually says what he's feeling and that is good, especially after following Pastel for so long. But Iori disapointed me, probably because i'm more of an Itsuki fan. This manga is good because it doesn't drag, the pace is relatively slow but i got used to it. It doesn't provide fan service every single chapter which is also good. I didn't get bored like i did with the other romances i tried to folow and the art is amazing, very well drawn indeed. I would give this a 10 but there were some things that truly pissed me off. The twist at the end nearly made me destroy the computer and the actual ending just didn't feel right for me, i mean it's decent at best, it felt rushed. The characters are well developed but i would be lying if i said i liked the last volumes of the series, something just didn't felt right. I liked the story, but the atitude of the female lead just wasn't right. That coupled with a few disapointments makes me give this an 8.5.
Not that it is a bad grade for the manga, because it still beats series like Pastel and Kimagure Orange Road by many, many points, it's just that those little things prevented me from getting a truly happy feeling after the end of the manga. One thing i truly enjoyed was the fact that people stuck around to help Ichitaka. Secondary characters good, the twist near the end a complete shocker.
Yeah i edited this after further thought about this manga. It would be unfair to give it just an 8.
I liked it be the ending needed more details of what happen after. All in all, a very good read if you just finish reading something with a heart wrenching ending. Eventho I like some of the other girls alot more. I didnt hate Iori but she is a cold fish until about half way through the series.

Also, I didn't like the fact that he seem like a completely nobody, the could as have made him and ronin after he fail the 1st time I looks better than someone working in a convenience store, but I guess this added more effect to the that fact of them being a world apart
I''s is the best Romance manga ever. It truly brings out what you can do with a harem romance manga. It was true to the end and had almost no faults. The only big thing it had was that it could have gone on longer. Even then the ending put a tear to my eye. I read it 3 years ago and just read it again and it still amazes me. If you haven't read this manga you have too. 200 out of 10
I needed a romance manga to cure the ache in my heart left by Suzuka, and this manga did a fairly great job of doing just that. Art is really good, and unlike what some others said, IMO the comedy moments have great art too. The hotsprings scene was so funny. I would also be lying if I said some of Ichitaka's fantasies didn't get me hot and heavy myself hehe.
The ending was good but just felt a bit abrupt. I definitely saw it coming though. I mean, from the beginning of the last chapter, I had a feeling things would end that way. Anyway, I definitely recommend this manga to others.
I really have to say I was surprised I merely started this on a whim and didn't expect to like it at all but I was deeply surprised how engrossed I became with it. It was a wild rush of romantic fantasy from beginning to end and it sadly did end but I really would have liked to see a bit more from the ending itself, it ended how I wanted it to but I would have liked a bit more detail in the epilogue.
good story line overall because it was realistic compared to a lot of other mangas, good art, but the ending was........satisfactory.............it leaves room for a sequel that will never happen
Looked into this. Got past the first three volumes. Couldn't find a single character I liked. Pathetic male lead character, obnoxious student body and dumb girls that he is either chasing after or are chasing after him. Makes me fantasize about Eikichi Onizuka going in there and kicking their asses.
One of my favorite series here.... A great development and good art through out with an ending that throws you for one last quick surprise before ending satisfactorily....
I"s was was fun to read. The art is good, and the plot is too.
AND I WAS WRONG
I previously said that didn't move me at all, but that was because of my lack of sleep -_- after reading the last 20 chapters again I really was moved. Really.
So, to all of you: Read I"s when you've slept enough. Seriously. I"s won't be as fun if you have a lack of sleep
The ending was a bit sudden, and the whole "famous girlfriend" thing was kinda weird. Even so, it was a great manga overall, and I really enjoyed reading it. The artwork is pretty good, and so's the plot, I'd definitely recommend this to someone.
