This series was mu very first shoujo when I was just getting into manga. Its also the series that gave me the passion to draw as well.

I absolutely love the story, it's tragic, sweet, and heartpounding. My favorite line of Mitsukis was "I've always wanted to try dying once." it's a line that stuck with me through the series. The fact that:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The shinigamis are those who have commited suicide
was a great originsl touch even though she said where she got thr inspiration from. Another thing I like is all the characters are connected, so there all important to Dr.Wakioji to her grandmother.

I really enjoyed the manga aspect of this, there was enough comedy to balance the sadness. And the anime aspect was wonderful, and it left a deeper impression on me than the manga...however, it goes to show that [m]Full Moon wo Sageshite[/m] is best, either way.

I've purchased all the books for full moon, I'd watched the anime first then decided to read the manga which was a smart choice. The story is much more detailed and you understand the characters more when you read it. I couldn't help but fall in love with the Shinigami (especially Takuto ^^) Her drawings are really detailed and cute.
I couldn't help though get depressed sometimes when reading and end up crying in the sad parts. Mitsuki is such a troubled person for a 12 year old >< I dont ever remembering my life to be that troublesome, but I'm pretty easy going lol. Anyway by the end I felt so bad for Ecchi ( I didnt like him to start, I was routing for Takuto), his story was too sad T.T Though I felt the ending to be a bit empty, for me anyway, but i couldn't really see it go for longer then it did, but glad it was happy ^o^ I was glad there were characters like Johnathon and Izumi, funny =) they gave it some life to the story.^^ All the characters just worked well together.
Even though it was quite sad, it was also funny and cute ^^ I would reckonmend it to anyone who likes Arina's art/manga and anyone for a cute story. I really enjoyed this work, so give it a try =)

I was very skeptical about the manga, usually music/singing subjects in manga or comics are poorly done because of the lack of sound to help set the mood. But I am glad that at least they did it so music isn't the complete subject of this series, despite it playing a large role in the series. I also recommend watching the anime, though, it focuses more on the music, than the characters, but it does play out differently from the manga.

YEP, i actually cried at this xD;;

I have no idea what to say about the ending , because i love happy endings - but I also like it when someone dies in the end, which leaves like an "imprint" on us all ;D

I think this was pretty good, but also like others say, pretty empty.

I really enjoyed reading this manga. The characters were cute and wonderfully drawn. It made me cry alot as there were many touching scenes and just as many humorous ones. ^_^ The characer's were pretty in depth, although I think there's something still missing in them. And I absolutely LOVED the ending! =D

I really enjoyed this manga.

Tanemura-sensei is one of my favorite mangaka, mainly because I LOVE her art style. Even if you don't like the story or anything else about Full Moon, you just have to love the artwork. The characters are so cute and beautifully drawn.

The story was excellent, too. Iím not going to write about any spoilers, but I will say the storyline was full of great plot twists. It was also rather tragic, but in a heartwarming sort of way, and it ended happily.

I also liked the characters and the way they all interacted with each other. It seems like they all have a really sad background story, but when they come together, their antics are amusing and funny.

If you donít like stories about people in love, this is not the book for you. But, if youíre in into that sort of thing or you have an open mind to it, you will absolutely love this series.

I read this manga a long time ago. It still holds a special place in my heart. The story starts of as sort of your typical shoujo. However, it soon gets very deep and angst written with a very good plot. This manga made me cry and laugh.

I really liked this story the art is amazing (I love the way she draws the eyes!!) I cried though during some parts it just made me soo sad (in my opinion) Some parts of this story were full of emotion and I really think that she made a connection with my interests. So I definately would recommend this to anyone. <3
