the characters get together really quickly and arbitrarily, it seems, and then the rest of the story is just their fluffy couple time and their high school antics.

its cute i guess, but i wanted more substance and chemistry to their relationship than just "oh you're friendly to me, i like you." meh. whatever.

Okay, so maybe there weren't a lot of comedic moments or interesting plot twists, but I just love this manga. We get to see their relationship grow (with lots of sweet moments) and see how they discover more about each other.

AND the "seme" isn't some alpha-hole, the "uke" isn't an annoying crybaby or scaredy cat, and there's a refreshing lack angst... thank god (or I guess Fujitani-sama in this case).

...although, now that I think about it, I could've totally done without the misunderstandings/lack of communication in the 3rd volume, that was kinda sucky. A rating of 8 then.

Sweet, sexy, and fluffy with lovable characters that grow. I love how the mangaka let us watch Kodama and Rutta grow throughout the years, and left us with a scene of their lives after high school. Kodama and Rutta are such likable characters- they just both have an honest charm to them. Definitely recommended. Although it's nothing extraordinary or innovative, it still had that little something that made reading it completely worthwhile.

I've read a lot of school romance yaoi. And I mean A LOT. This is just a typical yaoi manga to me. BUT I do appreciate the long chapters a lot. There isn't much depth but the fluffiness is enough tomake this manga a satisfying read. It's a good manga for Yaoi-starters.

In a nutshell,
a) Good, clean art
b) Cliche plot
c) Packed full of fluffiness

Good for starters though a bit dull for those long-term fujoshis....

ok i get that some stories are nice and fluffy, and everyone it's happy and there's no drama just love and love, but this one didn't even had comedy! kind of boring with everyone just being happy and all.. -.-' so... im gonna say neeeext! , cause i already forgot this one..

I love to read sweet and fluffy manga like this! It's so gentle that it makes you heart go all fuzzy when you read this! The characters are pretty well done, no despicable characters, no irritating characters, they're all pretty interesting! The plot however is something that you might find in other yaoi manga but there's something in this manga that makes the plot shines better.

Although it's a little cliché but it's good. Give this a try if you haven't!

to be honest, it's not what i'd consider one of the "greats" ...but if you want a sweet story to warm you on a rainy day, this is JUST THE THING.

i for one love it and find it supremely adorable. the plot is on the thin side, but the characters' likability keeps it fresh. the art is very cute, and most of all, there's a gentle atmosphere around the whole story that i really enjoyed.

PS: i'd recommend youko fujitani's "aishiteru/i love you" if you're looking for something of similar quality and feel.

This is probably one of my favorite yaoi mangas. It was sweet and fluffy, but had enough drama to keep people engaged and, yet, you knew nothing bad was going to happen. The characters were so cute and the art was great. I really enjoyed it.

This was just so sweet! It made me go "Aww...." every chapter.
Rutta and Kodama had such chemistry together. One thing out of many things I liked about this manga was that the seme blushed just as much as the uke. In most BL I read, it's always the uke who blushes the most.
This was definitely refreshing to read.

Beautiful art, an extremely well-fleshed-out romance, characters you can sympathize with as well as enjoy reading about, and a relationship that's one of the most beautiful completely non-problematic in all of BL. I don't mean they don't have 'problems'--they have their own issues to overcome after all--I mean Rutta doesn't rape Kodama from the get-go and claim it shows how much he ~loves him~ or blackmail him into being in a relationship (like a certain popular BL series by Takanaga Hinako).

Some people claim it's boring, and I think that's very YMMV--I personally found it to be one of the hands-down most engaging, enjoyable reads I've ever had the pleasure of perusing, with interesting ups and downs in a relationship that never got old, and just enough physical content to keep me interested in that way too

If I could give this series more stars, I would.
