Scene: The School Rooftop The hero (me, Junpei Manaka!) sneaks up to the roof to see the sunset. When he opens the door, he startles a mysterious beauty. She panics and runs away, but not before Junpei has caught sight of her adorable strawberry print panties...in EXTREME close-up. With that vision forever burned into his memory, Junpei embarks on a quest to find the girl, and the panties, of his dreams!

Not Flawless, but amazing.
Oh boy... one of those who leaves you with a big hole in your heart after finishing it...
The bad: Sometimes it's gets hard to believe, because of the excessive use of coincidences and cliches, It seems like the author is trying to drag the story a little longer while not letting it evolve. For instance: I wouldn't Manaka ever act on instinct when he had the chance? It would be more believable if he did stuff and then suffered the consequences, even regretting later. The story would then be more believable and it would have more material to develop upon. There were these points where, instead of a natural flow, it was more like the author was pushing it in a certain direction, and that kept the manga from being richer. I also hated that...

the author just abandoned Satsuki at a certain point. In the last chapter she actually says that she likes Toujo and Nishino ¬¬
The good: One of the things that makes this manga exciting is that, the partner for the main character is never obvious throughout the reading. It went on for years, and because of that, even with it's flaws, the story had the opportunity continually develop in unexpected ways. New and valuable new characters kept being introduced, while the old ones become ever more interesting and lovable. It does a good job at involving the reader at an emotional level where you can passionatly cheer for, against, and worry about whats gonna happen.
In the end.. I think.. The flaws here, I mean, the usage of cliches and such, are mostly at a superficial level. When it comes to what really matters, this is NOT cliche-like AT ALL. Yes.. you could forsee stuff like panty shots coming and accidental falls, but thats it! And the amazing ending this manga had is proof of that. Now.. wow, what an ending.. It's really great when you spend this much time reading and the author doesn't let you down on the most important part. Probably the best ending I have read so far, I can name just a few that would be equally good.
So, even with its flaws, I give this manga a 10.
Specially because, this is one of those that you'll never forget, and might comeback once in a while to read again, and are probably going to look for other mangas with the same quality and theme.

BEST manga ever
this is the manga where i was most satisfied with.
i love how the plot developed the relationships, and how the development for each girl was the deciding factor on which one the main character ended up with.
i have already forgotten the story, but one thing sticks to my mind
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
it was perferctly developed for a Nishino Tsukasa ending
Still My Favorite
i've read a lot of mangas over the years and yet this one still manages to remain as my most favorite one. The characters of this story really just makes you feel connected to them. And i agree with dannyboy95 when he mentioned how we actually understand why each of the girls fall in love with the main character. Though i may be biased because this manga was among the first ive ever read.
In my opinion though the anime is better than the manga but they're both defiantly a 10. also because of this manga, i havent been able to read love hina which i feel (after reading a couple chapters of it) is not as good as this manga.

Ichigo 100% ending
The end of ichigo 100 % I catch the public who do not like to finish the main protagonists with the girls . ( Eg in Detective Conan : Conan prefer to stay with Ai haibara , with Ran Mouri ) . I am fond of the characters take their major , so I wanted to stay with Toujou Manaka . In Macross Hikaru always wanted to stay with Misa Hayase , which Minmey Lyn . Because it shows what should happen a couple who want to be together . I saw what they had to spend Manaka and Toujou , Amachi with Kitaoji and making them impossible to life , constantly trying to remove them , and said " the end have to be together " . It's like when you go to see a movie you are introduced to the two protagonists, and " you say these two end up together " , or watching a fictional movie the struggle between good and evil, obiamente want to win good. so looked to Manaka and Toujou : including two against all: the good versus evil .
In this manga won evil Amachi Kitaoji and walked out with it.

To all those who whine and hate this quite honestly, rather brilliant manga
To all those who whine and hate this quite honestly, rather brilliant manga: I'm dead tired of all you people scattered all over of the net who unnecessarily spite this manga and it's ending;

Manaka didn't choose Aya? Big Deal.
There's a reason for that, Love however strong and deep, if not shown and acknowledged, is pointless and wasted. Aya is the epitome of this. Stop & think of Manaka and his happiness, and Tsukasa as a person and her happiness and what she meant as an entity in his life. Quite simply, she was there for him and also primarily, she is more interesting a character than that of Aya. Also, Most of the complains I've come across over the years... "I expected Manaka to end with Aya from the start, I'm so disappointed... How could he do this?!!"
When you read a book, you make and share the journey along with its characters, after a point, even the characters do grow out of their creators visions and develop their own personalities. It becomes abundantly evident, that

the girl over the course of the manga. Why did you read this manga in its entirety in the first place if you're just too daft to realize the journey the characters make from the start to the end. It makes perfect sense. It's not about you or your expectations. It’s about the characters and their world. How much more of a self-centered ignorant person can you get?
(Rant ends here.)
P.S: Mizuki Kawashita, thank you for your brilliant work, you are an important inspiration to a fellow comic book artist.
If you were an 80s or 90s boy... this was the manga you hid under your bed, praying your parents would never find it. Some say that Love Hina is the best shounen romance manga, but I think Kawashita Mizuki-sensei topped it with Ichigo 100%.
Like most romance mangas, the girls are lovable and the readers can pick their favorites depending on their preferences. What really separates this manga from the rest is the amazing character development of the four main characters, Toujo, Nishino, Satsuki and Makana. You actually understand why each of these amazing girls have fallen for our goofy protagonist; something that is often missing in other romance mangas. Most importantly, readers, male or female can relate to the protagonist. Manaka sn't some overly innocent character that you can't connect to, and his struggles in choosing the right girl is perfectly understandable.
This is Kawashita Mizuki-sensei's best work, and in my opinion, the greatest shounen romance manga ever. The ending may be disappointing depending on which girl you were rooting for, but nevertheless strongly recommended.
Aya Ichigo 100% Toujou meet her.
I want an opportunity to Toujou Aya. For me it's a great character, just Kawashita respectfully gave more importance to other characters. I believe wholeheartedly that was a great character, and it is so far. Not evolved, he did not grow, just ended as it began. Sorry for the spoiler. It is only my opinion may not agree with me

It has the typical Shounen ingredients; an indecisive protagonist, a love polygon, ecchi scenes in almost every chapter, dragging on forever, unnecessary drama, misunderstandings coming on over us out of the blue and so forth. I will not not deny this, and clichéd series like this can make for an enjoyable story, too, especially if the art is beautiful. HOWEVER what totally blew me away was the ending. It was unexpected and sweet! Junpei finally mans up and chooses his girl. I will not say which one. That is for you to find out. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this turn of events. Not many Shounen mangaka are this spunky! Therefore, mostly because of the exceptional ending, a 9. If it had not been so good, I would have given this a much lower score.

Well in my opinion this is one of the best, if not the best comedy/romance manga's that i've read up till now. And i've read a lot of them... a lot. Anyway, generally it was normal comedy/romance scenes... The kind of scenes before the whole "borderline h" genre. Anyway, what differentiates this manga from general comedy/romance manga's is the ending. Whoever is interested in reading comedy/romance should read this one... and i'll tell you this... you won't guess the ending . I'd give it an 11 rating if i could because this manga is that exceptional. My rating... 10.
you will not regret reading it, specially at the end
it started really nice and then developed well. the last volume you won't stop reading till till its all finish. off course with many scenes that will make you jump excited to know what will happen at the end and how will this end up.
