Description

A young girl named Rahzel is booted out of her house one day by her father with the instructions to 'see the world.' And so her journey begins. However, she won't be doing it alone... for she befriends a stoic young man named Alzeid seeking revenge for his father's murder.
Alzeid and Rahzel are like oil and water... but even still, they feel strangely drawn to one another. This could be either the result of an underlying attraction -- or their shared powers with magic. And so, the two reluctant allies travel from town to town, using their powers to help the helpless, while discovering their own respective places in the world.

i love these kind of series. And just after the first chapter, i was hooked. Sadly, i only read to vol. 3 from a friend, so i haven't gotten a chance to continue it. But, dazzle is really good. the art is good and the plot is so-so. because i'm only up to where i am now, i still haven't seen the real plot of the story. but then, i don't know if there is a real plot to it. Anyways, i recommended this series to anyone whole likes a little adventure and action, with a little bit of romance. And comedy.

It's a shoujo manga with a very shounen feel. Like someone else has said, there isn't a definite plot to this story. One could say the plot is for Rahzel to go out and see the world- because along the way, they encounter people and problems- and at the end of each adventure, both you and them have learned something. The manga comes off as random traveling, but it goes into deep themes and explores aspects of human darkness. I know I've made it sound like some dark story, but it is actually very light and funny (with a sad twist at times). It's a great action/adventure story. It is very light on the romance- you can speculate and squeal over Rehzel and Alzeido, but you're not going to see them yearning for each other. The characters are lovable. Rehzel is a kick-ass heroine and a heroine who actually changes her hair and clothes regularly. Alzeido is taciturn, but can be funny! And Baroqueheat is a total hoot! Watch the anime too! The anime sort of butchered parts up and stuck them haphazardly back together due to low budgets- but it's nice to see the characters in color and with music.

I couldn't get into this at all. I found Rahzel to be annoying and Alzeido's thought processes didn't make any sense. For example, why he decides to tell some random girl he's known for under an hour, who makes him lose his priceless gun, his story and about his revenge and whatnot is ridiculous. The art bothered me too. It seemed really great and interesting, but it turned out to be highly disappointing, which sucked, because the plot sounded cool.

I've only just started reading, so this is just my opinion for now. So far, it's all kinda stupid. The introductory chapters are just awful. Does this mangaka want to attract readers or not, 'cause what the hell is with those first few chapters? If I were to judge this manga by those chapters alone, I'd say this is one suck-ass manga (pardon the language). The dialogue is cheesy, and tries too hard to be witty/funny, which actually makes it all seems even more corny and embarrassing (I rolled my eyes a few times while reading). I hate the heroine, who's annoyingly bratty and ...well, just annoying I guess. She's the one making all the lame-ass, cheesy comments. The art looks like it's drawn by a noob, so it's not attractive or compelling to look at. I just hope later chapters will be better. ...Yes, I'm reading on despite the horrible first impression. Gotta give the manga a chance to grow into itself... who knows...maybe it'll turn out to be better than I thought. Ok... after a few volumes...I still hate the heroine, and the hero is a stereotypical cold-fish (stoic, emo and zero-personality). Can't bring myself to like this manga. Plotless, pointless...the story's going nowhere. Did I mention that I hate the heroine? All I can say is this girl need to calm herself down. Her over-the-top reactions annoys the hell out of me. She's a spoiled brat who neither likable nor funny. Everytime she opens her mouth, she looks like a fool to me. These characters are unoriginal and lifeless. The guy barely shows any emotion, and the girl shows too much. Typical shoujo. Plus... this is gonna sound petty... but Rahzel's the fugliest female character I've seen in a while. ...
