refreshing cute read

This manga didn't bring anything new to the table, but it wasn't so bad with cliches as other make it out to be. There weren't so much drama that it would become a soap opera, which is a plus.
What was refreshing about this manga was how the couple actually worked together through their problems and actually talked to each other about it so that their misunderstandings never really last long to become a huge problem.
Some people think that Ageha's annoying, but what makes her great is that she speaks up and confronts about her uneasiness instead of letting them build up inside her.

I find that as the series develops, the characters that weren't likable in the beginning become likable. such as ageha's twin. she's become such an admirable person in the manga. while ageha has just... urgh lols whine... cry... jump to conclusions. I'm still reading it though

...it's halfway through the manga when you get to see the slightly interesting parts compared to how it started out as Ageha being an annoying self-absorbed crybaby. I got really frustrated with her jumping to conclusions and running away all the time whenever she misunderstands something.
Seemingly unattractive and unpopular female;male who can't seem to get over his somewhat "tragic" past, and an overly insecure set of females ogling at the male. Ahh..so the cycle repeats itself.
It's pretty darn cliche if you ask me,but I got so used to her hysterics most of the time that I still decided to continue this series. Well, ironic as it seems, the art was still very convincing as it is...which is,for the most, probably the only thing that made this series striking and settling at the same time.
Don't get me wrong.

Both a good and bad read

I would probably like this story more if Ageha choose a better boyfriend. Unfortunately, he is a self-centered and promiscuous like kind of guy, who is caught up in his past. Therefore, it's hard to stomach the continuation of their romance, when Ageha has to bend over backwards for him. Also, her sister Hana is such an evil twin with a histrionic personality. It would be much better if Ageha didn't keep things so copasetic for a change.

As others have said, I can see the similarities to Peach Girl (it IS the same author), but I wouldn't say it's exactly the same. More that if you enjoyed PG you'll prob like this, and if you didn't you prob wont.

That aside, I wouldn't say this is anything particularly special. It's not awful, but it's full of cliches. Normally, I don't really mind that, but they're not really executed well. For example, we have the student-teacher relationship...kind of? No one seems to care at all, and they really make no effort to hide this. (so all the tension that makes that type of relationship interesting isn't really there) Not to mention is guy is the WORST counselor ever! seriously! His adviser encourages him? ugh. Also, there's the beauty transformation, which is all well and good...but her personality seems to transform along with her looks, and not in the good way. Usually you'd end up with a pretty girl who retains some of her old personality quirks, but she mostly becomes a pathetic, insecure, whiny brat (not much unlike the evil twin). There's also all the twin switching that goes on, but that's expected with any story involving twins, and isn't all that bad.

Despite these annoyances, I've still enjoyed reading this for the most part. If you don't mind cliche's and really enjoyed peach girl I'd say give it a shot. Otherwise, move on to something else...

People say they don't like this because it's simialar to Peach Girl? WELL LET ME TELL U SOMETHING. A LOT OF PLOTS ARE PARTICULARLY USED A LOT AND THE SAME IN MANY OTHER MANGA SO WHY SHOULD THIS ONE BE ANY DIFFERENT? AND PEOPLR IF U READ MORE OF IT BESIDES CHAPTER 1 U MIGHT SEE THIS SERIES STILL VERY DIFFERENT FROM PEACH GIRL! As for the Characters and Artwork. Love it and love them. Now twins are very hard to see who is who for the first time and aftet a while if u been with them long enough so for teacher to get them mixed up is normal. Believe me. Cause it not like he going around asking Ageha “Are u hana?” or having a sscret word to prove themselves who they are. WHAT KIND OF LIFE IS THAT? Anyway i never really saw this being cliche so i don't know where ppl are getting it from. I love it through beginning to the end. Great Story to add to my collection. smile

I was obsessed with Peach Girl, when i was young now as i'm older i'm just like...confused This is a good manga if you like cliche's and stuff, but yeah as people have said it's like..a repeat? Hana is Sae the boys..are really..she never makes 3-D characters her characters are always 1-D, But seriously if you "Love" a person how can you not see through the same cliche' little "Switcharoo" act? more then once? I mean..if you like a person you would be able to tell them apart from there twin, they don't have the same voices, they don't act the same, they don't have the same aura, demenor or anything? so....yeah. That just bugged me, and still bugs me that's all i wanted to say. LOL

This series i think is better then peach girl but simialar to Kare first love (Read it). I never really saw this simialar to peach girl although the chracters are alike. there is definaitly a lot of changing in AGEHA's life including with the bond of her sister, hana. I saw the ending and I love it. For people that love drama, hot guys beautiful chaos, and comdey read this.
