Gradually worsening

It started out pretty well, but you can't carry a plot like this for 50+ chapters.

Having the protagonist trying to orchestrate his dream future can work for only so long before it becomes monotonous, especially considering said protagonist isn't likeable & his love interest is about as interesting as a roll of toilet paper. At least the side characters are consistently funny.

I like to think of this as a poor man's School Rumble. Neither have much of a plot, but School Rumble has far better lead characters.

One of the Greatest Manga I've Ever Read (>.<)

How many manga can make you laugh and cry at the same time.
Well this manga is quite exceptional and like no other.
I cannot count how many times I burst into tears and laugh until my face are sore from smiling whenever I read this manga.
Simply rating this manga with 10 cannot do justice on how awesome this manga truly is.
The protagonist may be pathetic and may have shortcomings at times but this truly shows that not all of us are perfect. That's why we have our friends and family by our side to support us.
It also shows that not all achievers in academics and the like become successful in the future.
And losers can also date and even marry the most popular student in school.
I really like the concept of this manga that is about the struggles and hardships of the unpopular bunch.
I can totally relate to the protagonist in some scenes were sometimes we get scared, embarrassed, hurt, feel lonely, feel happy on what's ahead of us.
My all time favorite scene is where Aoshima mistakenly confess to Wagatsuma in class and the creative dance that Itou assembled.
The cover of this manga maybe so so but the content is what truly awesome.
I totally recommend reading this.

Bad Lead, Great Cast
by wklbishop

Synopsis, main character can time slip briefly and see his future. He sees a girl who's very popular has become his wife and now goes about trying to make that dream a reality.

The main character is extremely selfish, pathetic, and thinks badly of his friends all the time and somehow he gets the girl for sure at the end. Kind of unsettling. But the DX brigade is hilarious and saves the show for me. In fact their antics almost makes me forget the main character's disgusting nature as some kind of gag even though I still know the main character is a downright awful person who only cares about himself.

hilarious as hell,,
stable plot, and not weak-willed MC

and it's not typical harem, because the MC already choose the bride
it's just a story how he will get her biggrin

The DX brigade is funny. The Kaiji allusions are hilarious. The way he includes Nausicaa references for the otaku is amazing. The plot is solid. The main character is a loser. The time slip concept gives a virtually unlimited amount of potential plot points.

I am really enjoying this manga. It doesn't have any sappy moments either, so this can't even really be seen as a "romance". So far just a high school comedy manga.

This manga has tons of cultural references, more than a half of which I don't understand. But, it's still sooooooo funny. It's one of the few comedy mangas that literally made me LOL. Don't expect much romance though. The romance is mainly used as a tool to give the manga some direction.

As some have already mentioned, don't expect some great romantic plot here. This manga is all about comedy and it gets the job done perfectly. We get tons of references, facepalm moments and more. And I really like the epic facial expressions of the protagonist.

So far, the manga has been quite refreshing and the author really does a good job in avoiding the cliches you usually find in this genre. If you're looking for a good laugh, this is it. (10 may be a bit much, but I laughed my ass off so why not)

EDIT: Used to be a great manga but started going in circles, art got worse, idk what to say. I guess I'd still recommend it for the first half.

Dont pick this up if you expect anything substantial from the Romance tag. Not even subtle. One can say its non existent at all. Only 10 chapters so far, but from one of the comments here I doubt the situation improved later on.

The story is slow but subtle. It has potiental to sustain itself for a longer run compare to other type of romantic comedies that I have seen. Since no "real" romance have happened and the story is in no rush to reach that point either.

Overall it's a pretty generic manga, plus time slip. I like it though.
