Description
From Seven Seas:
Fuuta Okeya can see dead people. Other than that, you might assume he’s a perfectly normal junior high school student. When new transfer student Kouko Ishigami comes to school, Fuuta falls head over heels in love with her. But while she wants nothing to do with him, the ghost that trails behind her is another story. Just when Fuuta thinks he may have won Kouko over, she catches a glimpse of the strange birthmark beneath the bandage on his cheek and denounces him as her mortal enemy.

Not for the shallow

A great manga. One of the best and most unique that I've read so far, and I've read mountains of stories, manga, novels, etc. All in 45 chapters and 1 Extra too! The romance and nostalgia may be too difficult for some to grasp, but for those who appreciate meaningful and well written stories, instead of the usual shallow material, this manga is just for you.

The author makes such good use of nostalgia. I have no words at how good this manga is. He created such a deep universe in 45 chapters. I am so happy to be born in this era to be able to read this.

I am fairly certain this is Mizukami-sensei's best work. I wrote a long review explaining why I think so. The man loves reincarnation and this is all about that. It tells multiple stories of different kinds and they pretty much all draw you in. I don't think the series is perfect, though; aside from the ending (which I do not like) I think there are some other problems, specifically with some characters. It doesn't totally harm this as a series, however. So long as you don't go into this expecting an action manga, you'll find a downright fascinating journey.

After reading hoshi no samidare and this one MIZUKAMI Satoshi officially became my favorite mangaka, sure he may not make long ass series like One Piece, Bleach or Naruto, but both of manga offer deep meaning making it whole different level from all other main stream crap. Definitely must read if you like hoshi no samidare.

Maybe this is one of the best seinen I've ever read! And when I saw the author of this manga, I was surprised that it was Mizukami-sensei... though I kinda know his drawing style. I've read wakusei no samidare before... But this one is even so much better. I really like the friendship this manga presented to us... I mean, it was soo heart warming. At first, I'm searching for seinen romance here.. but as I read this manga, those romances aren't important anymore. Yes, as long as I get to read such amazing story!

After Wakusei no Samidare and this one I became a fan of Mizukami-sensei.
This is the best series I read in a while and enters my top ten with ease, the story is great and not a cliche or re-mash of other series (not that I know of at least), the sub-stories (past lives) were all meaningful and interesting too, chars were interesting or even great and seeing them on many different "lives" yet connected was interesting and it was great to see how the different lives play out in the end and even a relation with Wakusei no Samidare in the last chapter. I would have liked to see a bit of the future life of the main char but the route it takes it's clear enough so I'll have to conform with that.
Recommended for anyone, a great series.

A story about reincarnation

This is Mizukami's best work yet, and this story makes great use of multiple protagonists. Even though they're technically the same, being reincarnations and all, they all have their distinctive personalities. The writing is gripping and with each reincarnation we get to know more about the overall story. Some of these reincarnation stories pack a real emotional gut punch.

Surprise! It's not generic!

I was pleasantly surprised by this manga. I wasn't expecting very much. I haven't picked up any new manga that I REALLY liked in a while, so I was looking for something new and interesting. I had refrained from shounen for a while because I was frankly tried of reading disasters.

But boy oh boy I am so happy that this one surprised me. I'm surprised it doesn't have a higher readership.

Basically as the description reads, these two have a long history of past lives. Almost every one of them gives you a different feeling to their dynamic. And don't assume each of these past lives involves romance like I did. Romance only matters in their current life, and even then it is the least focused on part of this manga. Revenge, karma, duty, justice, all of these themes play a role in every life.

Every life involves some kind of sadness or pain, yet happiness and self growth as well. I like the art style as well. It gives me... DETERMINATION!

But anyway, I suggest picking this up and having a read through. It's not that long, but it's a nice read.

U want reincarnation stories? READ THIS (masterpiece)!

N not those reincarnation 'crap' who suddenly throw people to other dimension and become so overpowered without any good reason.

Ahem... my apology, I hope my critique can be addressed really well even if my words seem so... ungraceful. Anyway, let's start the review...
Art, character, plot... they are all amazing! Nothing can describe this series more than that word. If the author can lead this series to a beautiful ending... I'll call this masterpiece...

Update:
Yes, it's already ended... and beautiful on top of that. I really never thought a reincarnation story can become such a deep story within only 40 or so chapters. It's also interesting to see people compared this work with other author's works, like Hoshi no Samidare and Sengoku Youko. The urge is hard to resist because those three series are wonderful, n the author somehow hint few possibilities of cross-reference within the manga. Thus, it will be a sin for me for not doing so... okay, let's review it...

Fixed... All is amazing, the ending too. Compared to the other works, I like this one the most. It's simple, deep, good-paced, creative, and of course, heart-wrenching. This series succeed to make me wonder, what does it take to be a writer as good as Mizukami Satoshi.

I said before that I will call this work as a masterpiece if the series ended well. So, here it is... a masterpiece...

Hail to the author and scanlator!

Even better then usual

Satoshi is a gifted writer and is developing beautifully. This is his best series to date from borth the art and writing perspective. The time jumps (the future arc was amazing) feel all very tough out and build upon another.
I will write a real review when the series finishes but have to counterpoint that this manga is a (great) romance.
No questions there. Read the 10/10 Billy Bat and Hi no Tori for an even better take on the themes present here.
