I ended up liking this more than Ootsuki's 'Calling' due to the couple-- Tachibana is overall such a nice, steady guy (you don't see much 'tops' being swept along in manga), and despite the way he's drawn, Ryuusuke is a very strong character. But this manga also had a lot more flaws than 'Calling'. As far as the 3rd chapter I thought that Tachibana only cheated on his fiance once as a result of a lapse in judgement, but it turns out they had sex quite frequently. I feel like adding sex scene was part of keeping up the readership while it was being released as of opposed to the sex between Tachibana and Ryousuke being an integral part of the story. If anything, it would have been the sex and not the fiance that I would have excluded from the story.

However, I have to give this a 10 anyway just because I enjoyed the characters so much. Please give it a read!

i was worried for some of the comments.. but i so wanted to see more of the mangaka's sex scenes, the kissing, i love it, hot hot hehehe and the ukes are always sooo cute. And i thought i was not gonna like it with someone saying the cheating and idunno what else... Of course the mangaka has better stories like Calling, and some stuff were kind of messy and over dramatic but overall is a good read ^^

Still, although Yukari was a well-rounded character, her presence was unneeded. Her role in the main story was obviously forced that I felt that there could have been other made-up incidents to force Ryuusuke back into Tachibana's life. Plot device aside, the couple's development was played out quite nicely. Great pacing as well. All in all, a very good read.

I really, really like this story, mainly because the main couple has personalities I like. I love ukes like Ryuusuke with the carefree attitude that sets the pace, but tries to shoulder everything on his own; and I love semes like Tachibana, who just gets swept along and forgives everything the uke does.

The pace wasn't rushed either, and everything flows pretty well, even the flashbacks. You really get attracted to their relationship more and more as the story goes on. The only parts I don't particularly find appealing is how



Overall, though, I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would and it was definitely a good read.

If I had to blame someone, that would be the uke. He's the one that came after so many years and imposed himself. The seme is more like a victim to me, he didn't take for real the part about being lovers, I guess he just felt happy to be reunited with someone dear to him and left himself being swept away, like he says.

I thought that the uke is a jerk, but in the end love isn't fair, is it?

i quite like this. the characters are quite real; they have their own way to answer the reality. i agreed that the main chara is initially annoying coz he received the offer to cheat on his fiancee, but as story flows, it is just understandable and u kinda synch with what he feels. the woman is great here. she is no annoying girl; but a mature, kind hearted woman. really different from usual yaoi style.

and she's sympathetic and awesome and not messed up, even though she's engaged to one of the main chars. Read it for that rarity if nothing else. The arts pretty, the story and characterizations mostly standard.

even if he is playing pretend lovers with someone else, the cheating isnt pretending, he is such a jerk to do that to his fiancee and even worse not to see it as wrong. the other guy is a coward that keeps running away and then shows up to mess up the life of his friend.
