After reading the first two volumes, this manga definitely impresses me. All of the "not quite right" and "huh?" moments in volume 1 were exquisitely planned foreshadowing leading up to an important part of the "game" they are playing explained in volume 2. Where it goes from there, I cannot wait to see.
I can really see pieces of the plot fitting together like a board game as the story progresses, so not only does it show a good amount of planning behind the story, but it also fits in neatly with the "game" aspect of the theme. If the rest of the story can keep up the same quality as the first two volumes, then this story will definitely become one of my favorites.
This manga has elements that appeal to both a male and female audience, and the plot is similar to some shounen adventure manga that currently exist. According to candyloop's List of Magazines & Their Target Audience thread, the intended target audience is older females (Josei), but I definitely feel that the manga will also be enjoyed by readers of shounen/shoujo manga as well.
