I really like Im Dal Young's works. I have read Freezing, The legend of Maian, Zero, UxU, and Onihime VS. I must say, this is getting old. I write novels for a hobby so I understand the feeling a novelist has when they feel they have an idea worth an entire series. But their are limits to HOW MANY series you should be writing a one time. Eight Manga's all circulating at once is insane and quite frankly I don't feel like reading this one until the others are finished. I mean seriously, haaa

Anyone unfamilar with Im Dal Young's work by all means read and enjoy. The main character is pathetic right now but the mahwa usually turns it around and makes him cool. But be warned, this manga will take a VERY LONG TIME TO FINISH. Because when this manga's chapters reaches the half way point for him. The mahwa WILL start a new series. You have been warned.

Although the comments below me state some true facts about the characters in this manga, I believe they are woefully overlooking some of the main issues in this manga that makes it interesting. The manga industry is not idealized in this series; the author poses many hard questions concerning the creation of manga. Is manga an artful form of storytelling or a commercial product that needs to be tailored to the customer. How much credit does the original mangaka deserve if the work behind the creation of his/her manga is split between several assistants?

In a nutshell, is manga an art or a business? This manga explores the conflict between those two views.

Yea this manga is so cliche and needs to be put to rest. Getting tired of the big bobble eyes. The suppose to be sex moments but then some bullshit comes and stop them. This is bad and yes like others say finish your other work. Aflame Inferno, Freezing just to name a few I mean this is getting out of hand.

Normal I am a big fan of IM Dal-Young mahwa, his character and his storyline, even thou a lot of unfinished work.

This time I have to agree with most of the comment here, he need to finish some of his work before start a new series, especially one as pathetic as Koimoku. I read alot of his other series but this time after reading like 2-3 chapter of Koimoku I just lost total interest in it.

Koimoku are just plain flat work BORING.

He really need to finish up UxU, Freezing, OniHime Vs, and the long lost forgotten Aflame Inferno.

While Re:Birth - The Lunatic Taker, The Legend of Maian, The Phantom King, Zero: Circle of Flow, and Kurokami I don't give much of a damn since they aren't that interesting to me.

I've been following Im Dal Young's works for awhile and I find many of his works interesting. Although yes, many of his works do have flaws, especially when it comes to originality. But ok, let's ignore the word 'originality', many manga are not original nowadays.

Im Dal Young is trying to sell quantity over quality. He is re-using the idea of Ux2 with different roles and some elements from Bakuman. Not only that, he is using an extra pathetic male lead and a non-interesting female lead. But I'm sure some horny boys will love it since there is extra fanservice too.

And I agree with Lynkz but at least Hwang-Mi Ri is finishing her series. Let's hope Koimoku won't be a long series.

Another masterpiece of IM-Dal-Young I cant wait for another chapter..no WAIT. It's IM DAL YOUNG this asshole never finishes his work. I never get satisfaction for every manwhas he make because of his habit..or something else. So for chirst sakes finish even one of your work! and if you do the world will be suddenly be a better place.

IM Dal-Young is a Hwang Mi-Ri wannabe who can't even draw his own series who took the style of making a set of cookie-cutter characters and shuffles them up and places them in different similarly cookie-cutter situations based on a modified Twister wheel. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he uses other people's character styles, but he made a original set that he just re-uses. He's like a author version of those low-budget mmorpg game companies that just try to release as many as possible to make money without caring about how the fans feel. I doubt I'll pick up any new work from him unless I've read EVERY other manga out there, and I'll only finish the ones I've started cause I have a no-drop policy. -_-;

He has too many incomplete series to wrap up, and starting a new series is just pissing of his dwindling fans as we wait for the next chapter of the other longer running stuff he's started and basically shelved. The fact that his characters and story/themes are very similar to each also make it hard for me to remain a fan.

at first it seemed "weak, but entertaining" but nearing the end of the first chapter you can see where the story is going a lightyear down the road. You've read one Im Dal-Young work you've read 'em all. The characters are attractive enough, if that's what you can call it, but when you take just a second to look at them... there's nothing there... just a barely-above-mediocre plot with shallow characters and a "Screw the story, She has XYZ Cup Rack!" rehashing.
