Description
Tadayasu Sawaki has just enrolled in an agricultural university in Tokyo with his longtime friend Kei Yuuki. Although not known outside a close circle of friends and family, Tadayasu has the unique ability to see and communicate with microbes, which appear larger and look different to him than they do to a normal person's eyes. This catches the attention of Keizou Itsuki, a professor at the university and an old friend of Tadayasu's grandfather who specializes in microbiology and fermentation. The anime thus far has been very pleasant, much thanks to efforts by BSS subs. Hopefully some group will pick up the manga project. (Hopefully with a roster familiar with basic microbiology or teh wikipaedia)
Since I saw the anime I can say that the history is good. And the characters and art are decent. If a translator read this, well, you know now what you have to do!! (Translate it please!?)
(And about the genere: its not wrong, many manga are simply too extreme with their themes, this manga is not the case and I like it)

i first thought "bacteria, what the heck, this must be really booring." but it turned out to be a really great anime. i just love it. the thing is, im currently studying biology so everytime i come across a lactobacillus in my studies now i have to think of these funny little figures in the anime. i bet no-one else in my yr has so much fun learning about microbes! and professor itsuki is just awesome, so crazy, nearly beats my prof for plant evolution. hehe 
it seems like an interesting manga but i read the first 2 chapters and it doesn't seem like a Comedy,Ecchi,Gender Bender,School Life,Seinen manga like it says i started watching the anime and it seems really interesting but whats with the genre

I've been watching the anime and i got to say that it's so great, and i'm just wishing that somebody would do this manga, !PLEASE¡. Thats all i've go to say .
Considering the theme and story, it's again one of these typical "damn that story is stupid, nothing good can come out of this", but really now, I think we have all learned our lesson ;)

Meanwhile, it looks like a scanlation group has started to scanlate it, I'm going to take a look at it later, but I'm sure I wont be dissapointed (rarely have I ever read a manga that was bad in comparison to the anime) I just hope they catch up with the anime soon enough!

The anime for this was my favorite of 2007. At eleven episodes, an OVA or two better be in the works if not a second season. I'd love to see how the manga was done. Hell, I'm tempted to try to read the raws but the thought of searching for translations for all the names of the microorganisms... It took me long enough to find info on the translated oddities. In any case, here's hoping someone will pick this up.
MAN that anime was awesome reali liked it but it was so damn short would be great if i could read japanish but i really hope that somebody could translate it ohhh and its still ongoing man i really loved the anime and hope that the manga is even better.
the story is rrrrrriiiiiiiiiiillllllllllllllllllllllli lovable!! Hilarious, cute(bacteria), a ABSOLUTE must read!!! You'd think it's be rili boring with the theme of bacteria and the cover doesn't look 2 cute if ur lik me and lik shoujo, which i found a real turn off, but im glad i watched the anime with my sis. My fav scene has 2 be when haruka(i think that was her name...the gothic rich girl) got drunk and started scratching the poor dude's face off...xD
