An amazing manga which combines comedy(it's really HILARIOUS),action and a wonderful romance.Great story, great characters;i really can't find any flaw.As expected from the talented Nakamura Yoshiki-sensei.By the way,for those who say that Tsukasa is just like Kyoko from Skip Beat! with fighting skills,i have to say that this is not true at all. They are both powerful and strong character-wise but their personalities are entirely different. They both bring laughter and are not your typical annoying/Mary Sue/weak shoujo heroine but Tsukasa is really really different from Kyoko.Anyway, highly recommended. It's a shame it didn't get animated although it was popular in Japan.Read it people^^
As said Ariakit :License the damn thing already!

Yoshiki Nakamura proves to be one of the best mangaka with Tokyo crazy paradise and skip beat. This manga is filled with slapstick humor with a mix of romance, action, lil drama & mystery.
If you read Skip beat you will also love this because the character's in TCP are as quirky and as lovable like SB. You won't get annoyed with Tsukasa. I Highly recommend this to all fans of Shojo/Shonen genre.

This is one of my favorite mangas. When i first looked at it I had no hope for it. I only started to read it because i'm a sucker for gender benders. But the more i read the more i fell in love with all the characters. Tsukasa was so amazing. A lot of manga make the lead female totally useless or say that they can fight but when ever there was a real fight then they can't fight at all. But Tsukasa was always strong and independent which made her one of my favorite characters. Not to mention how Ryuji was a great character that helped make Tsukasa so cool. This manga is great. It has fighting, romance, comedy and just an overall great storyline.
Repeat offender!!

I am now reading this manga for the fifth time. It's such an original storyline, and I love Tsukasa's character. The art isn't the greatest, but it's easier for me to appreciate than the artwork for Inuyasha, so it's not horrible. The scenes that focus on Tsukasa's ... dark side? are awesome and those scenes get you more caught up in the storyline. This story is nothing like Skip Beat, but they both have the same gripping moments.

When I first read this, I gave up on it early on because I didn't much care for the art. But I went back, and past the first few chapters, I stopped caring. This was a great manga - I especially liked how neither of the main characters was really useless in fighting - especially Tsubasa. You'd think, given how she got her job, she'd be some useless girl that her boyfriend had to continually save; but no. No, she totally kicked ass. That was by far the best part of this manga for me.
save it for a rainy day...

Tsukasa and Ryuji are my favourites! I love the characters, they're adorable and hilarious but the yakuza plot lines failed to keep me reading further. I'm talking about the school drug mystery, the underground gambling thing, etc. I'm only on the 13th chapter and with 40+ to go I'm kind of bored. It's clearly not something I can finish within a day or so. But it's better than Skip Beat imo.

I started reading this manga with pretty high hopes which grew as I read but then when I ended I fell off my stairway to heaven like a bucket of sand and suffered withdrawal symptoms. Suffice to say I simply loved this manga with its intricate plot, the detailed action fighting scenes, the delicately balanced humour and the touching romance. Yoshiki Nakamura truly is talented when she clenches your heart with her drawing and writing style, the heartfelt moments make your heart bleed eternity... maybe not but still. I really, really, really, wish it could've ended better or even have had a sequel because the characters, plot, art and setting are just to DIE for... not literally.
It is quite unfortunate that it hasn't been recognised for the wonderful piece of art it is, seeing as it has neither been translated into English nor turned into an anime. Tsukasa, Ryuji... may we meet again.
Oh, and in response to all the reviews about the fact they were only 14... I kept forgetting.

LOVE YOU FOREVER KAMOJIMA! ♥
I also love strong female leads instead of the weak always crying for no reason ones. If you like a great story then this is the manga for you! The drawings are really well done too! I give this a 10/10 but I kinda wanted to see what Ryuji and Tsukasa are like after their married and have kids and such. (Im glad that i didnt stop reading this when i thought it was going to be boring also I think that the main characters should have been a little older than 14 more like 17 or 18 would have been better)...
