Description
From Shinnen:
Isezaki, a second year from Kamiyama Boy's High, has had his heart captured by a girl he saw in the window of the neighbouring girls' school. A school route madonna!! After two months, it's time for her to graduate...?! It's a 17-year-old's summer starting from spring, chockful of idiocy and friendship enough to make you cry.
Also included is an extra story called Fuyu Hodoki in volume one.

It's theme is basically "cute boys doing cute things". Girls appear for a few pages only. Certainly not something I expected. And I don't like it. Maybe if i was a female... but I'm not.
It does have nice art and easy-goingness. Just not my cup of tea.

the first story is nice, i like it so much.. but chapter 2 is so much different, i feel like reading shounen-ai there.. the relationship between Kuruta and Isezaki is somewhat 'strange'.. or is just my feeling??
Mixed feelings

I love bromance and this is the reason I decided to read this manga. Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed.
1. I find this manga boring. I've finished it whole (means it was somewhat enjoyable), but it took me a few days. I wasn't very excited about this one. I'm totally fine with no action, slice of life etc., and I actually expected this manga to be about boys being boys, without much happening, but...
2. I don't know if the author is male or female, but I've a strong impression it's the latter. I don't think the characters acted like real boys, not most of the time. When a manga is about boys being boys, it's usually pretty fun to read, but as long as the charas actaully act like boys *thinks Men's Kou, Kimi to Boku*. I think that many guys in shoujo manga act like the boys from Seishun Kouryakuhon but this is because we usually see them near a female protagonist - when guys are near a girl they like, they often act less dorky, more romanic, more serious. In this manga, it's like the guys are near girls, even when they are not - perheps the readers count as ones and the guys' behavior was supposed to be appealing to us? Dunno, but without romance, action, with little humor, I didn't find this manga very interesting. Yes, it's about male friendship (which I love reading about!), but if the characters don't feel realistic, what's the point? Anyway, I praise the author for trying, touching the subject - would love to see more manga with similiar theme!
And there were some fun scenes, scenes that made me smile - just not enough of them
