A story filled with angst, yet hope. I really felt for the MC, and the other characters, even though I hadn't been in her shoes. This is how good the story telling is; we get to see what she's suffering from, but we also get to see what the other characters feel as well. Everybody suffers from something. The little sister...I related to her. I think this is what I would have done if I were her.
A story of second chance

I don't usually pick up titles with an overdramatic plot device like memory loss or teenage rebellion but the quick development of this manga made me stay. This is highly rated for a reason. Main character Shiori is a high school sophomore popular for her beauty and resented for her rotten behavior. When she lost her memory, Shiori became a totally different person and struggled to keep her new identity even when she realizes what her personality really was. At this point, I knew that this manga is worth reading until the end. I was really touched by Shiori's constant effort to rebuild herself even if her memories have yet to return.
I couldn't give it a perfect 10 because of the weird family situation Shiori and siblings are in. It still bothers me. It would have been a smooth read had it not for some twists.

somehow I knew that maybe she was just purposely acting a bad person to keep some secrets(and I'be got feeling that Akio likes her too) :) )
Anyway, I just can't wait for more!

The lead girl is strong, makes her own decisions, and doesn't let people push her! Yet she isn't a tomboy or portrayed as masculine in any way. The plot is very interesting and it's easy to connect with all the characters. The art is wonderful! I'm DYING to know what happens! Every time I reach the end of a new chapter, I just can't take it because I want more! Even though it seems that there's nothing entirely unheard of in this manga (other than the extreme rarity of a strong, but not "manly" or "arrogant" female lead) it is still a rare gem of shoujo manga, in my opinion. Just give it a try!

please... please... please... Chapter 5 makes me want to screaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam. Cliffhangers are the WORST! This is a really good manga. It's about a girl who loses her memories, and tries to relive her life as who she is now. It's really good as she's finding herself all over again, yet her memory slowly comes back so she has to reconcile with who she was. The heroine is really strong, so it's a very enjoyable read. Very much recommended.
Intrigued.

With three chapters thus far, I have to say I'm very intrigued with the story. It really doesn't seem like other amnesia stories and so, it has caught my attention.
I am very curious about her past and whether or not the heroine will accept it or strive to change.

In fact, this is one of the best and underrated shoujo manga that I've ever read. But of course, there is something which annoys me.
Ihm ıhm SPOILER
1) I think the manga is a little bit TOO dramatic. Okay, I guess there is nothing wrong with seperated parents and not-blood-related siblings. But there are so many minor characters who cannot find the happy ending like major ones. Ex: Kai, our super heterosexual Dai, the crazy girl (?)
The love triangles, quadrilaterals etc. were OK at the beginning of the story, but then so many of them kept coming again and again and so much crying and mourning, ughhh
2) Seriously, is there anything wrong with sex before marriage? Shiori says somewhere:"I decided not to have sex before marriage ^-^" or smth. like that. I personally liked Shiori's character development but all the "innocent girl who is gonna stay virgin until her prince comes bla bla" thing gets on my nerves.
3) Akio and Shiori aren't suitable for each other. Wait, I guess I am the only one who thinks that way. C'mon, it is clear these guys really hurt each other constantly and then fought and cried... It's a common thing when it comes to married couples, but hey, you are teenagers. I still feel sad about Akio guy. Throughout the manga, this child never lived his life and cared about his family. In my opinion, he really should live on his own and think of himself at least once. And Shiori... I think it would have been best if Shiori hadn't had any relationships at the end. She is obsessive and I don't think the love story between these characters is an healthy one.
END OF SPOILER
But yeahh, if you want to read a really good Shoujo manga, try this. Although it is full of the "first love" thing, it is hard to find that good Shoujo manga these days.

What first caught my eyes about Six Half is the description of the story. It involves a simple case of amnesia and the typical problems that comes with an amnesia plot. Except for that fact that it isn't so simple and clean like a typical manga. By far, Six Half is one of the most dramatic manga that I've ever read. The story works to give each character their individuality. The good, the bad, and even the things that lies between, Six Half is able to encompass it all through its characters. The best part about Six Half is that it makes you feel as though you are actually inside the story. I'm no fan of Shoujo nor Shounen manga but this one is most definitely a good read.

this manga has been on my wish list for years. I usually don't read any manga from my wish list because I put them there so that I won't see them when I search for new manga (because a lot of time the manga on my wish lists are just bad... bad..). but I come across this manga on tumblr and didn't know it was on my wish list, so I read it. It is really good, a bit depressing with the whole love square? circle? idk but it is really good. If you stop reading this because of the art (the mc looks like one of those annoying girls in super cliché shoujo manga), give it a chance. it will get better and so does the story line..

In my opinion this is a VERY good series, and as far as i have read, this does not have inappropriate content, so it seems like a series for everyone.I believe that the art style is actually quite realistic, because there is none of those very big eyes. The story may be a bit hard to understand and its not one of those 'cute' romantic stories, Its not cliche either which makes it really good. Im not sure if i would recommend it for those who are under 13 years old, but if they can understand it, then that would be fine (10 to 13 yr olds are getting smarter these days).
So all i can say is that i enjoyed this series very much, and am hoping that they can release the next chapter. I might also try this author's other works, if there are any.
